What To Expect
Discover the Art of Handcrafted Pewter in Nova Scotia! Each Amos Pewter Hands-On Experience tour begins with a demonstration from our Artisans of how we cast molten pewter into hand-carved rubber mould to create each of our handcrafted designs. Follow along with our artisans, and pick up your own tools to sketch, carve, smooth, and finish your own pewter piece. A perfect experience for couples, families, and large groups looking for a uniquely local experience! This 30-45 minute workshop gives you a glimpse into the creative process of Amos Pewter artisans, leaving you with special keepsake, and a special memory to take home!

5.00We learned about how pewter is made and tried our hands at part of the process! The artisans in the shop demonstrated the more technical parts and answered questions. It was a very relaxing and yet fun little workshop! My husband had been a skeptic, but really enjoyed it too!

5.00It was fun to see Luke melt the pewter and tell us how the figures are molded and cast. We were stopping by Halifax on a cruise ship. The people at the store were very nice.
