This garden to table experience is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity that I’ll never forget! Satoko and her children are the most lovely people and are such a wonderful family! During this experience they showed us how to dig up bamboo shoots, which we were then taught how to cook. After we were given a tour of their gardens and were shown all the amazing fruits they grow. Finally we were brought inside where they prepared a wonderfully delicious meal for me and my family to enjoy. This whole experience was showered with warm conversation and a deep look into Japanese country side life. I highly recommend this for anyone who enjoys Japanese food and a friendly conversation!
