5.00Etsko our guide on this tour was very informative, spoke very good English and even better only 4 people on this tour!!! This was a bucket list thing to do in Hiroshima, as part of a 2 week holiday to Japan!!! The tour was very moving, however a must do, to really appreciate how resilient the Hiroshima people were and still are today, the origami birds we made we will treasure and hang on our Xmas tree along with other momentos from around the world… thank you so much Etsko for a great tour

5.00This five hour walking tour began by passing buildings and trees that survived the atomic bomb blast. It went on to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, where the impact of the bomb on the city and its residents was graphically displayed in photos, videos and written descriptions. The museum also incorporated a section on the race to develop atomic bombs, how the Hiroshima bomb actually worked, and what has been done since with nuclear non-proliferation treaties. The walk moved on to the Childrens' Peace Monument and the A-Bomb Dome before going up the nearby Orizuru Tower to look down on the whole area. A Japanese lunch with options was provided. I had the local fried oyster specialty. Angela did an excellent job communicating detailed information during the walk.

A very informative, well planned tour that he tailored based on what we asked and he made some insightful suggestions that we took to see some real local things that we otherwise would have missed out on. The time went really quickly and we took in many areas. Highly recommended and totally satisfied with my experience would absolutely book again.
