What To Expect
Do you know which is the most popular Hungarian street food? Have you heard about Langos? Have you ever tasted it? Here is the time, you are in the right place. Langos is a deep fried flat bread. It is eaten fresh and warm when it is crunchy, topped with sour cream and grated cheese, bacon, different paprika, red onion or most frequently, without toppings, just brush with garlic cream. In Hungary there is no summer or festival without Langos. Come and join us and you understand why we say this. During this class from the beginning to the end we make together this delicious dish and you can taste 2 different types of Langos with different toppings as well. When you fried your Langos (Classic & Potato), you can enjoy them with a glass of Hungarian wine, homemade soft drinks. This experience requires a minimum of 6 participants to run.

5.00Wonderful Experience! We went with a group and had a wonderful time. The space was lovely and welcoming, the chefs were very helpful and clear with explanations. We made a traditional Hungarian dish called langoss and lived the end result. Highly recommended!

5.00Rozi and Peter met us at the door and immediately put us all at ease. Rozi was our teacher and explained what longos were, and how they came about. She had all the ingredients measured out in separate containers on the workbench, then explained each one before giving us each an opportunity to add or mix ingredients. If a special tech nique was needed, she would demonstrate first, then encourage several people to try, correcting them gently and clearly if they missed the mark. Once the dough was kneaded and proved , we each, in turn, stretched a ball of dough into a disc and gently lowered it into hot oil. When each langos was golden brown, it was quickly drained of hot oil and plated, ready for toppings. Scrumptious! Rozi s patience, clear communication and encouragement gave even the most inexperienced cooks the impetus to complete the tasks, and it was good. A glass of wine and our finished masterpieces were our rewards!

5.00This is a very interactive and fun cooking class for any age or group of people. We were on a “girl trip” with Viking in Budapest. Marti is enthusiastic, skilled, and entertaining. Her facilities are perfect for a cooking class and the food was absolutely delicious. You will actively participate in the class and eat what you cook! Marti sends the recipes to you via e mail after the class. We all enjoyed the class and were glad we signed up for it.

You will have hands-on experience cooking lagosh two ways with Marti's patient instruction and will eat your lagosh! It was a highlight of our trip! Thank you Marti and Peter.
