A gem of a find when you are looking for something cool to do in the “suburbs” of London. Vaishali is warm and friendly and knows her area really well. She curated a series of stops starting in a Hindu temple and a variety of local merchants stimulating every sense. She ends the tour with a nice lunch of Indian treats (included in the price). Wonderful experience for anyone visiting from out of town (like me), but also for locals who just want to learn more about this incredibly vibrant local neighborhood (My group was about 50/50).

One of my favourite experiences in London!! Vaishali reminded me that heritage is something truly felt, questioned, reshaped, and ultimately celebrated. Her stories are vibrant. I learned all about Indian traditions, saris, temple bells, and food, and it evoked all my senses throughout.

The visit to the temple was very special. The archtecture for a start was of a unique style and the layout had its special meanings. The exterior carvings carvings all told stories. Once we were inside the temple, there was an indescribable silence and peacefulness that took you to a different dimension. You saw statues of deities and the supreme creator representing different aspects of life. There were people praying to their chosen deities representing the aspects of their lives most in need’ of help and support and some prayed to all. The carvings on the pillars and the walls all told stories. Then there was the textile stores with garments and textiles from different parts of India and stories of how they are woven, painted and stitches and their chosen colours and designs. Following this was an array of jewelry stores with various designs again linked to different parts of India. People that wanted to learn how to drape a sari were given the opportunity to be shown how to drape one and buy if they wished. Next was our visit to a restaurant where we tasted different types of snacks that we had never had before and drinks we had never had before. We heard stories of how some of the snacks were made and the parts of India they originated from. We then headed off to a building whose walls were covered with murals representing different aspects of India and Indian lives. All in all it was such an interesting tour with lots to learn, see, taste and experience. A feast for all senses. I would very highly recommend this tour as I personally enjoyed every moment.

This was such a fun, informative tour that Vaishali provided. I loved how she wove in her families own story. It was a great shared experience with such a friendly group. Highly recommended!

This was so much fun and definitely one of the most interesting and best cultural tours I've done to date. It was interesting, educational, and a feast for the senses. Even as someone who grew up here, I'd never explored this part of London before and definitely didn't know much about Gujarat culture, customs, fashion, and food - and the nuances in beliefs influencing daily life. Vaishali is a great storyteller and brought this whole experience to life well. The inside of the temple (which I'd never have walked into on my own) was stunning. I loved being introduced to new sweets, exploring fabrics, and especially enjoyed the food at the end of the tour - for those who aren't vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free, these dishes may surprise you. For those who are, you're in for a treat. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to expand their horizons. Thank you Vaishali!

Decide to give this a go after seeing it rated so highly in The Times and it was money well spent. Vaishali was very passionate and knowledgable about Indian culture and put the whole group at ease. I learnt a lot and enjoyed the sites, food and experience immensely - far exceeded my expectations!

I joined Vaishali's India Tour in London, and it was truly one of the best decisions I made. As someone who is Indian and passionate about exploring Indian culture and heritage, I was excited to discover the Indian side of London—and this tour exceeded all my expectations. The experience was thoughtfully planned from start to finish. We visited a stunning temple that was absolutely breathtaking, enjoyed delicious Indian sweets, explored vibrant shops where we could try on traditional Indian clothing, and discovered fascinating historical Indian landmarks around Ealing Road. The tour also included a delicious lunch, which was a wonderful addition to the overall experience. What made the tour especially memorable was Vaishali herself. Her knowledge, storytelling, and enthusiasm brought every location to life. She explained the history, culture, and significance of each stop in such an engaging and enjoyable way that I felt immersed throughout the entire journey. I enjoyed every moment of the tour and left with a deeper appreciation of India's rich cultural presence in London. If you're looking for a unique, informative, and enjoyable experience, I highly recommend this tour. Vaishali creates a truly special experience, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I stumbled upon this walking tour given by Vaishali it was the best! I have been on many tours in Europe but first one in London. Vaishali was personable, professional and very knowledgeable. She had interesting stories that are quite engaging since she is born in the area how area has grown with Indian culture It was new experiences while here this time in Wembley Vaishali as guide, I must say, I was not disappointed. She was very knowledgeable, interesting, and kept our attention as we navigated through a busy street that allowed me to take it all in. The tour starts early enough to avoid the intense heat. I whole heartedly recommend this tour to anyone visiting London England . Interesting site to see was a Hindu mandir And also try out some unique Indian sweet and spicy food. Thank you Vaishali for great experience
