What To Expect
Bern
Bern, capital of Switzerland, was built in the twelfth century on a peninsula on the banks of the River Aare. Its medieval architecture has been preserved to this day in the Old Town (Altstadt) which is listed as a World Heritage Site (UNESCO). The old town also contains the city’s most tourist attractions, the Federal Palace, the Cathedral and the medieval tower of Zytglogge. A stop of 1 to 2 hours is planned in the heart of the city close to the mentioned attractions.
Thunersee
Lake Thun is one of the most beautiful lakes in Switzerland. Several castles dominate the lake, including Spiez Castle and Oberhofen Castle. We will follow the lake from the town of Thun that gives its name to the lake to Interlaken, enjoy the breathtaking views of the lake waters and the Alpine mountains to relax and prepare for the great adventure that will be the christening of the air in Interlaken.
