What To Expect
Lesendro is a historic fortress on a former island in Lake Skadar, Montenegro, built in the 18th century to guard fishing grounds and trade routes and strengthened by ruler Petar II Petrović-Njegoš against Ottoman attacks. It was captured by the Ottomans in 1843 and finally returned to Montenegrin control in 1878, and today its atmospheric ruins stand as a cultural landmark near Vranjina.

5.00We had the one-hour boat tour – perfect to see a lot in a short time! The skipper was super friendly, explained a lot to us and even took great photos of us. Especially beautiful: We were allowed to pilot the boat ourselves! There was also water, wine and juice for refreshment. For such a reasonable price per person, the experience was absolutely worthwhile – we would do it again anytime!
