If you are looking for something extra special, our 170 minute Edge of the Earth Tour will put you through your paces on some challenging terrain, rewarding you with stunning views of the Southern Ocean.
Whether you take the introductory option or the more challenging tracks, your expert guide ensures a safe, fun ride for all levels of experience (even kids are allowed to participate).

Minimum age for passengers is 4 years, for drivers is 6 years
Please wear closed-toe shoes and long pants
Children 17 years and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian 18 year or over.
We are located in Vivonne Bay, which is approximately a 90-minute drive from the Penneshaw ferry terminal, but unfortunately, we do not provide a shuttle service nor are there taxis/ubers on the island.
What To Expect
The most exciting way to experience Kangaroo Island's unique wildlife and scenery! Ride your own quad bike (ATV) or go as a passenger in a buggy (UTV) cruising through a wide variety of terrain. Your experienced Guide will give you the instructions you need to ride safely over rocks, around sandy corners and more, dependant on your abilities. As well as give you plenty of information on the wildlife that you may encounter along the way. All participants are fitted out with safety gear and instructed on the safe operation of a quad bike. Tours are tailored to be suitable for beginners and /or experienced riders. With different tours available, whether you are a young family trying quad biking for the first time, or you want a more extreme adventure and epic views, there is an option to suit you!

5.00Clare was an amazing guide for our quad bike ride. We were both new to it and thoroughly enjoyed the adventure through the tracks and Australian wilderness. Complete with native animals and great riding tips we loved the whole experience and would definitely recommend it to people of all ages.

5.00This was one of the best experiences we've ever had. Our tour guide Em was just amazing and so thorough and explained everything and did everything to try and make us happy. All safety instructions were given, we went on a practice run and then she took us on our tour. She explained things we went and gave us the heads up as to what to expect on the next part of the track which helped us with getting ready on our ATVs. We loved it so much and cannot wait to go back for another adventure! Thank you Em!

5.00Corey was excellent, very patient. The trail was interesting and varied. Thought it might be easy but going over rocks and twisty curves made it more interesting. Corey even took the time time to find a koala for us.

5.00An incredible experience driving through the stunning KI bush. Corey (our tour guide) was extremely patient with two absolute noob quad bike riders. He designed the route so we could ride comfortably and also took us to see a koala in the wild (no matter how long I’ve been an Aussie I still love seeing Blinky and his friends in nature). Would absolutely do it again next time we’re on KI - can’t recommend enough.

5.00My two teenage boys loved it! So much fun and very informative! Got to see lots of beautiful views, kangaroos, and koalas. We had Corey and he was awesome.
Anyone who goes to KI needs to go on one of the tours, I would definitely recommend it.

5.00Experience was great. Fantastic for nearly all ages. Clair was such a great guide and so knowledgable about the organisation, the bikes and with information about the Island, showed us some of the wild life on the way and was an all round great guide. I was happy to pay the admission fee which I thought was very reasonable for what we did. Our visit was approx 2.5 hrs, the atmosphere is very relaxed but professional at all times. My husband and I were the only ones booked for the afternoon tour and we had the best time on the quads and the tracks we went on. We are going back to Kangaroon Island in Spring in 2027 and we will do a different tour. Thanks Claire you were great and hope to see you next year!

5.00My wife and I went on the All Terrain Quad Adventure with Claire as our guide. Claire was very helpful and made the tour very enjoyable. We got to stop a couple of times to view koalas and a goanna sunning itself. We will definitely be back.

5.00As a first timer on a quad bike I didn’t know what to expect. Our guide Claire was friendly and upbeat from the outset and immediately made me feel safe and calm with her easygoing and positive attitude. She took us through every step clearly and thoroughly and we did a few practice laps before heading off on the all terrain track. I had a great time, didn’t feel pressured and at the end felt confident and ready to take on a longer trip in the future. Highly recommend Claire and this company for first timers!!
