What To Expect
Pashupatinath Temple
The religious Shiva Temple, for Darshan. It is Kathmandu's most visited temple of Lord Shiva. Its main attraction is the unique Shiva Linga displaying the eight faces of Lord Shiva. It is listed in UNESCO Heritage Site since 1979 AD.
Boudhanath Stupa
The holiest shrine for Buddhist culture. The stupa's massive mandala makes it one of the largest spherical stupas in Nepal and in the world. It represents the Tibetan culture in Kathmandu. In the stupa, there are giant pairs of eyes looking out from the four sides which refer to Buddha's eyes and the wisdom eyes. These eyes symbolize the all-seeing ability of the Buddha. It was listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1979 AD.

5.00This is an interesting day tour. I liked going to the old city especially where signs of the damage of the 2015 earthquake could be seen. The buildings were quite different to other parts of Kathmandu. Just the right amount of time was spent on each place we stopped
