Great tour, our guide was very informative and loved being able to go trackside. We enjoyed exploring the museum independently. Extra bonus for us was going to Churchill Downs to watch the races. Great day.

The museum and video tell you so much about the Derby! The tour of the track was great. The guide shared so much information with the group. And we got to see a race! Would definitely recommend!

The Kentucky Derby Museum staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The museum had wonderful displays and covered all facets of the horse racing business. A combination of story boards, videos and race items explained the horse racing sport, even to a novice fan. Getting in the grandstand and seeing a race up close was a nice bonus.

The museum has a fabulous collection of memorabilia and provides a wonderful overview of the history of racing at Churchill Downs. The tour of the track and building was short, would have liked to see where the jockeys and horses enter the track. Had to ask an employee where to find the resident race horse and his friend Ari the miniature horse. Overall, a great introduction to Churchill Downs.

We had a great visit at the museum and it was so neat to go into Churchill Downs and see the actual race track. We actually got to see a live race going on as well! This is a must for any horse lover.

This is a great experience in which I learned a lot about the history of Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Derby overall. The facility is FACINATING and my group even got to see a genuine race during our tour. I would only suggest a bit more complete information being shared in advance about parking, schedules, and other potential conflicts so I could better plan the visit.
