Kintsugi reflects the Japanese spirit of cherishing broken things. Tableware that holds memories or old, broken tableware can be repaired with kintsugi, making it usable again.
In this experience, kintsugi, which usually takes several months, can be completed in just a few hours using resin.
Suitable for all physical fitness levels
Broken or chipped tableware is repaired with kintsugi using resin, Urushi and gold. It takes about 1 to 2 hours, and we will explain everything to you in detail. The completed work will need to be stored for two weeks, so you will not be able to take it home on the day. Therefore, it will be delivered to your home at a later date. This was a beautiful, intentional, and thoughtful experience to understand all the steps to repair broken pottery. I love the metaphor of kintsuge, and have been wanting to learn its art. Because she follows the traditional process using urushi, the final piece will be shipped to you. My only wish is that we had options of broken pottery to choose from. Otherwise, I had a peaceful experience in a beautiful location!

All right! We learned how to make kitsungi on small plates broken in 4. In a workshop with soft music and tea. Very interesting, creative and relaxing activity!
