2.00This was a very unorganized group call Shore Excursions. The tour did not provide any water, it was over 105 degrees,did not give time to do nothing even through the ship was due to leave at midnight. The tour guide hardly explain about Pusa and Florence, was left alone to do stuff on my own, had one hour for the academic gallery, and had to pay extra for a listening recorder, one hour in Pisa. Folks got left from the meeting place because it was very difficult to gett back to. Buses had to park at least 5 miles from the center of town.This was one the worst tour groups I ever experienced. I had to pay an extra 100 euros because stipud NCL changed ports.

5.00This particular shore excursion will allow you to see Florence and Pisa all in one day. It is a rather long day, but 100% worth it. You start the day boarding a bus that will take you to Florence (1.5 hour ride), it is air conditioned and the tour guide (Martina) talked about the history of the area during the ride. Once you arrive in Florence, you will have two choices, go on your own or take the walking tour with the guide (recommended). We went on the walking tour. You will learn the history of Florence and visit all the important landmarks in the city. Florence is a beautiful place rich with history and culture. The city of artists, scholars, and forward thinkers. You will have plenty of time in Florence even after the walking tour to look around for yourself. Next, you board the bus again and off to Pisa. Pisa is a very small town and can be down in a relatively short amount of time. Of course, you have to see the leaning bell tower, once again, take the guided tour. I want to give a warm thanks to our guide Martina, who was excellent. She was charming and funny and very knowledgeable about the area. If you can ask for her, please do.
