5.00It was horrible weather so we found this to drive around and listen to. It was absolutely fantastic and really good value for money. We thoroughly enjoyed it and even took our dog with us. My partner had no problems following the directions it was a little tricky in some areas but a quick u turn and we were back on track. Really informative and took us to some areas we wouldn’t have visited without the guide.
Beautiful and out of the way views/experiences.

4.00I was impressed with the places we saw that we'd never have visited by following the main roads. Unfortunately we were late starting the tour from a very specific place in the Keswick car park, hence on returning a day later, we decided to pick up from where we'd left off but unfortunately took the route going the opposite way! Consequently the commentary didn't relate to what we were seeing! Our fault entirely but felt the audio should be able to pick up our location and adjust to it.
Well informed, full of culture, would definitely recommend!

1.00Perhaps we didn’t have it set up correctly but found it very difficult to follow the directions and kept getting lost so gave up early on. Looked up the places to visit and did it on our own with sat nav. Shame as sounds like the commentary was good and other users have praised it. As said, we may just not have set it up correctly.
Great to do on a rainy day.

4.00Last minute decision to do this audio drive tour due to the terrible weather. Great decision to get out and see some sights. Took maybe the first two stops to get used to how the app worked and what the icons meant. Would have been good to have bought the national trust all day parking ticket at £8.50 for the day, but we didn’t realise until too late. Each carpark is a diver so it would add up so we missed a couple of stops. Overall, thank you, great way to spend a day and useful and interesting commentary.

5.00Great narrator and oration! I love that the tour is connected to our location; commentary and directions automatically pop up when you enter certain spaces. Lots of information and history alongside recommendations for trails and other lookouts. It works even if you skip a site or two or pause for a while and come back.

5.00We were thinking about doing an organised Lake District tour but found this self drive audio tour and were not disappointed. Such a beautiful area around Borrowdale and Buttermere and the tour took us to places we would we would not have found ourselves, telling us all about them and more along the way. We liked that we could set our own pace and would recommend a few stops along the way to break it up a bit, explore attractions and enjoy the scenery more.
