Grand Canyon National Park

Welcome to Arizona, proudly known as the Grand Canyon State! Once part of Spanish and later Mexican territories, Arizona officially became the 48th U.S. state in 1912. Today, we begin our journey to discover the remarkable landscapes and natural wonders this beautiful state has to offer. Our adventure takes us to the South Rim and East Rim of the magnificent Grand Canyon, where breathtaking vistas stretch as far as the eye can see. Carved over millions of years by the powerful Colorado River, this immense canyon reveals dramatic cliffs, layered rock formations, and ever-changing colors throughout the day. Located in northwestern Arizona, Grand Canyon National Park was designated as the 15th national park in the United States. Its centerpiece, the Grand Canyon itself, is widely regarded as one of the natural wonders of the world and remains one of America’s most iconic and awe-inspiring destinations.

Horseshoe Bend

Horseshoe Bend – recognized as one of the Top 10 Best Photography Spots in the United States by National Geographic. Here, the lush aquatic vegetation along the bed of the Colorado River gives the water a brilliant emerald-green glow under the sunlight. The river makes a dramatic 360-degree curve through the towering red sandstone canyon, carving out the iconic horseshoe shape that gives this natural wonder its name. As you stand at the cliff’s edge, you’ll be captivated by the striking contrast of deep blue water, endless blue skies, and the rich red rock formations — a truly breathtaking and unforgettable view.

Lake Powell

This area is part of a jointly managed region shared by Native American tribal lands and national park territory. Beyond its vast waters, Lake Powell is home to one of the world’s rare natural marvels — its stunning water-carved canyons. Resembling a piece of jasper set into the red-orange landscape of the Colorado Plateau, Lake Powell is often described as a fjord within the Grand Canyon region. Along the way, you will pass by Glen Canyon Dam, an impressive feat of modern engineering. You may stop along the shores of Lake Powell for memorable photos, or choose to kayak through one of its most famous narrow canyons, enjoying a close and peaceful encounter with the crystal-clear waters. From every angle, Lake Powell offers breathtaking panoramic views that perfectly capture the grandeur of the American Southwest.

Lower Antelope Canyon

Lower Antelope Canyon, located in northern Arizona, is a breathtaking natural wonder sculpted from soft sandstone over millions of years by wind and water erosion. During the monsoon season, sudden flash floods rush through the narrow canyon passages. The rapid surge of water, funneled through tight corridors, creates powerful vertical erosion, carving smooth, flowing rock formations and wave-like textures along the canyon walls. These forces have shaped the elegant corridors and polished surfaces that make the canyon so distinctive. There is no artificial lighting inside Lower Antelope Canyon. Instead, natural light filters down through narrow openings at the top of the canyon. As sunlight enters, it reflects and refracts off the textured sandstone walls, descending to the canyon floor in a mesmerizing display of shifting colors. The hues transition from deep amber and burnt orange to soft gold and pink, creating a dreamy, ever-changing palette that feels almost otherworldly.

Bryce Canyon National Park

Bryce Canyon National Park, located in southwestern Utah, is not actually a true canyon despite its name. Instead, it is a vast natural amphitheater created by erosion along the eastern edge of the Paunsaugunt Plateau. The park is famous for its extraordinary geological formations known as hoodoos — tall, slender rock spires shaped over millions of years by wind, rainwater, river erosion, and ice. These formations developed from sedimentary rocks originally deposited in ancient lakebeds. The vibrant red, orange, and white hues of the rocks create a surreal and dramatic landscape, earning Bryce Canyon the poetic nickname “The Palace of Natural Stone Figurines.”

Jackson Town Square

Though the town is small, it is marked by impressive archways made of elk antlers standing at the east, west, south, and north entrances. These striking arches are crafted entirely from naturally shed antlers — not from hunting. Each winter, thousands of elk migrate down from the surrounding mountains to the National Elk Refuge in Jackson to spend the cold season. In spring, the elk naturally shed their antlers as part of their annual growth cycle, leaving them scattered across the refuge. After the herds return to the high country, these naturally fallen antlers remain behind — nature’s seasonal treasures — some of which are collected and used to create the iconic arches that have become a symbol of Jackson.

Grand Teton

Grand Teton National Park was officially established on February 26, 1929. The park is home to many beautiful lakes, including Jackson Lake and Jenny Lake, whose crystal-clear waters perfectly reflect the towering peaks above. Most of the park lies within the majestic Rocky Mountains, creating dramatic mountain landscapes and breathtaking natural scenery. Grand Teton National Park also boasts incredibly rich wildlife resources. Visitors may encounter iconic North American species such as American bison, grizzly bears, black bears, and moose, making it a remarkable destination for both nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts.

Yellowstone National Park

Located in the Rocky Mountains, often referred to as the “Backbone of America,” Yellowstone National Park rests on a vast volcanic plateau between the Northern and Central Rockies in the western United States. Its remarkable geothermal features define the park—an ancient and dramatic landscape sculpted by the forces of water and fire. Yellowstone is generally divided into five distinct areas: the Mammoth Area, the Roosevelt Area, the Canyon Area, the Geyser Area, and the Lake Area, each offering its own unique scenery. From steaming hot springs and erupting geysers to deep canyons and tranquil alpine lakes, the park showcases natural beauty so extraordinary it seems beyond human imagination—one of the most awe-inspiring landscapes on Earth. Our first stop will be the West Thumb Geyser Basin, where colorful hot springs and bubbling geothermal features line the shores of Yellowstone Lake.

Yellowstone National Park

Enjoy a full-day adventure in Yellowstone National Park today as you discover its most iconic natural wonders. Highlights include the vast Yellowstone Lake, the historic Fishing Bridge, the bubbling Mud Volcano area, the dramatic Upper Falls of the Yellowstone River, and the breathtaking views from Artist Point. Norris Geyser Basin

Norris Geyser Basin, named after an early Yellowstone superintendent, is considered the hottest and one of the most dynamic geothermal areas in Yellowstone National Park. The stark, otherworldly landscape of Porcelain Basin is shaped by its highly acidic environment. Because of these harsh conditions, plants, algae, and bacteria struggle to survive. Instead, the basin’s vivid colors come from mineral deposits—shades of pink, red, and orange created by iron oxides, and brilliant yellows formed by sulfur and iron sulfates. This basin is also home to the world’s tallest active geyser, Steamboat Geyser. Although it can remain dormant for extended periods, when it erupts, it launches powerful jets of water up to nearly 380 feet into the air, creating an unforgettable and dramatic spectacle.

Upper Falls

Upper Falls is situated about 400 meters upstream from the larger Lower Yellowstone Falls. The waterfall plunges 33 meters vertically along a volcanic cliff, creating a stunning cascade. Over hundreds of years, the originally jagged volcanic rocks at the base have been gradually smoothed and polished by the relentless flow of water, forming a strikingly sleek and sculpted landscape.

Artist Point

The scenery here is truly breathtaking. The canyon plunges over 300 feet deep, with walls painted in rich shades of yellow, accented by streaks of black, red, and pink, and dotted with clusters of green pine trees. The colors blend harmoniously rather than chaotically, resembling the vibrant tail of a peacock or the layered, textured brushstrokes of a romantic painter practicing pointillism.

Yellowstone Geysers - Mud Volcano Area

Located in the eastern section of Yellowstone National Park, just north of Yellowstone Lake, this area is famous for its unique geothermal activity. Unlike typical geysers, most of the eruptions here shoot boiling mud rather than water, and each eruption causes the ground to tremble. Surrounding the mud volcano, vibrant grasses add a delicate and striking contrast, creating a scene that is both rugged and surprisingly beautiful.

Fountain Paint Pot

The Palette is a fascinating mud fountain. Minerals in the mud and rocks are dissolved by the acidic hot spring, creating thick, viscous mud. The slow rise and burst of bubbles can be observed in detail, giving a mesmerizing, almost hypnotic effect. The mud surrounding the fountain resembles dried oil paint, making the entire scene look like a painter’s canvas—vivid, textured, and layered with colors that seem to spill like a palette of rich pigments.

Grand Prismatic Spring

Also known as the Seven Color Pool, Grand Prismatic Spring is the largest hot spring in the United States and the third largest in the world. Measuring 75–91 meters across and 49 meters deep, it releases around 2,000 liters of 71°C water every minute. What makes the spring truly remarkable is its seasonal color changes. In spring, the water shifts from emerald green to golden-orange and red, a result of algae, pigment-rich bacteria, and other microorganisms thriving in the mineral-laden water. By midsummer, lower chlorophyll levels allow brilliant shades of orange, red, and yellow to dominate. In winter, reduced sunlight causes microorganisms to produce more chlorophyll, which suppresses the carotenoid pigments, turning the spring a deep, rich green. The ever-changing colors create a breathtaking natural spectacle that is unlike any other.

Old Faithful

Old Faithful Geyser is famous for its remarkably predictable eruptions, which is how it earned its name. It erupts roughly every 60 to 110 minutes, with each display lasting four to five minutes. During an eruption, the water column can soar over 40 meters into the air, creating a truly spectacular sight. Visitors can check the eruption schedule at the Old Faithful Visitor Center in advance to plan their visit and witness this iconic natural phenomenon with confidence.

Yellowstone Bear World

Yellowstone Park Bear World, established in 1998, is the only drive-through wildlife sanctuary in the Greater Yellowstone area. Located in Rexburg, the park gives visitors the rare opportunity to see iconic North American wildlife up close, including grizzly bears, black bears, gray wolves, and other rare species. It is home to nearly 100 grizzly bears, making it a remarkable destination for wildlife enthusiasts. In addition to observing the animals, guests can enjoy interactive experiences such as guided tours, live demonstrations, and feeding sessions with bears and smaller animals. Shops and other amenities are also available, providing a full, immersive wildlife adventure.

Great Salt Lake

Great Salt Lake, located in northern Utah, is the largest inland saltwater lake in the Western Hemisphere and one of the most saline lakes in the world. Fed by the Bear, Weber, and Jordan rivers, the lake has no natural outlet, causing its size to fluctuate dramatically depending on rainfall, river flow, and evaporation rates. Situated in an arid environment similar to the Dead Sea, the lake shares chemical characteristics with ocean water. However, its salinity is far higher than that of the oceans because evaporation consistently exceeds the inflow from its feeding rivers, creating a unique and strikingly briny ecosystem.

Utah State Capitol

Utah State Capitol serves as the seat of government for the state of Utah. It houses the chambers and offices of the Utah State Legislature, along with the offices of the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, State Auditor, and their supporting staff. The capitol is the centerpiece of the Utah State Capitol Complex, located atop Capitol Hill with commanding views of downtown Salt Lake City. Designed by architect Richard K.A. Kletting in the Neoclassical Revival style with Corinthian elements, construction took place between 1912 and 1916. In recognition of its architectural and historical significance, the building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

Temple Square

Temple Square is a 10-acre (4.0 ha) complex located in the heart of Salt Lake City and owned by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The square features several iconic landmarks, including the Salt Lake Temple, Salt Lake Tabernacle, Salt Lake Assembly Hall, the Seagull Monument, and two visitors’ centers. In 1964, Temple Square was designated a National Historic Landmark District, honoring the Mormon community’s remarkable achievements in settling and shaping the state of Utah.
