Lower Antelope Canyon is one the most exquisitely photographed attractions in the Page Lake Powell area. Many visitors prefer the Lower Antelope Canyon to the Upper because it is less crowded, has light throughout, is longer, and offers great variety. Visitors get the experience narrow slots an ladder access into some of the sandstone craved shoots an holes formed by the force of runoff into the Antelope Wash from the mesas above.

What To Expect
Lower Antelope Canyon
Tour Departure Point: Lower Antelope Canyon Indn Route 222 Page, AZ, 86040 Antelope Canyon Tours departs every 1/2 hour a quarter after and a quarter till the hour, the tour is a 1.5 hours waling tour and climbing down some ladders is involved. Please wear comfortable shoes for this 600 meter trip. Lower Antelope Canyon Tours has smaller group sizes and the guide stays with you during the entire tour, sharing information about the geology, history, and Navajo Traditional ways. The Lower Antelope Canyon tends to be less crowded than the Upper Antelope Canyon and is preferred by many because of its narrow canyon walls and ladders that take you to the levels that have been carved by flash floods from the upper mesas. The sandstone walls are exquisitely formed, and the Lower Antelope Canyon offers a longer canyon exploration.

3.00I guess our tour guide is new, her name is Gabby. She mainly guide us through the tour but never said anything about the history of the site. The view is amazing! I was happy to see it.

5.00A magical place discovered with our guide Keanu, who explained how the canyon was formed and pointed out the best spots for photos. At the same time, it's hard to miss a photo since everything is beautiful.

5.00Breathtaking views and plenty of photo opportunities! Some steep stairs/ladders. Our tour guide (Ian) was awesome! You can bring a water bottle, camera and phone - but leave all else at home. Be sure you are able to bend, move around, duck, etc to navigate the right areas. Would not recommend for small children.

5.00Lower Antelope Canyon is a sight like no other place. The sun beams are gorgeous and McKayla was an outstanding tour guide who took her time explaining and pointing out various things about the canyon. The groups are spread out enough that we did not feel rushed or overly crowded. The pictures we left with are amazing and the memories of being there were definitely a highlight! I highly recommend seeing Lower Antelope Canyon.

4.00Incredible experience, our guide Nathaniel was a seasoned pro at assisting with photography and taking pictures of myself and my family, only drawback was initial contact to confirm reservation was a bit spotty. But I did get confirmation 730m the night before our tour.
