2.00Our guide seemed inexperienced. We arrived 5 minutes early at the meeting spot and she showed up up 5 minutes after the start time. She was not holding a flag or pamphlet up to indicate that she was a guide. She approached us. Then she made us wait 10 more minutes for another couple who were supposed to be coming but they never showed up. She was not in contact with Viator because I showed her the message that I had sent when there was no guide at the start time. She was very knowledgeable about the sites we visited but she was not from the local area. I had wished she could have answered more of my questions. She was off on her pacing of the tour. We were supposed to end at the starting place but she left us on the other side of town with directions on how to return. In all fairness we had just had wonderful guides on a river cruise that were a hard act to follow.

5.00Had a wonderful tour with Arnie. Took us to all the great spots around Lucerne and was overall a very nice and funny guy. Highly recommend taking a tour with him.

1.00Almost impossible to find this meeting place ,with the information given. The name was not familiar to anyone we asked. We only had paper tickets. When we tried to find the info on the phone it keep asking where in Bueno Vista we wanted to go- WE WERE IN LUZERN! We did finally find the place - we were only 4 minutes late. The Guide was no where to be found. No red vest or flag to be seen. Waste of money. I will try to get refund.
Tried to force us to change from the private tour we paid for to a group tour

1.00A couple of hour before our $150 fully private tour, our tour operator contacted us to ask if we would do one as a group with 4 other people. They said they would give us a $15 refund even though the group tour costs $42/person. They would not take no(we had just had a bad experience with an obnoxious person on a previous group tour) They spent the next hour trying to force us to do the group tour. We finally said if they wont take no for an answer, we would just cancel. I am taking it up with Viator because they are only giving us a $66 refund. We did the Lucerne tourist audio tour and it was great!

1.00Unfortunately the tour guide seemed very new and it seemed like he didn’t know too much. He didn’t explain how the day would go and it was very random. When people would ask him questions it seemed to throw him off. Unfortunately it was a choppy tour. Needs improvement.
