What To Expect
Learn how to play Cantonese Mahjong, a traditional and challenging game that requires strategy, skills and some luck. You'll be guided through the rules and techniques of the game. What you will learn in the class: - How to recognize the tiles - How to win a game - Basic etiquette - Basic scoring rules The lesson with be conducted with an electronic mahjong table provided by us. Apart from knowing the basics, you will gain a deeper understanding of the game's complexity and the different strategies that can be used to win. You will gain insights into what captivates people worldwide to mahjong. You will also enjoy the social and competitive aspects of the game while practicing your skills. 5.00What an absolutely wonderful way to spend a morning! Our instructor, Senny was phenomenal! She was knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely entertaining throughout the entire lesson. Her teaching made learning mahjong, feel effortless. The instructions were so clear and on point that we picked up the game much more quickly than we expected. Beyond the gameplay itself, her conversation and warmth made the experience truly special. It felt less like a class and more like spending time with the delightful host who happen to be sharing a beautiful tradition with us. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and left feeling excited to play again. We highly recommend this experience to anyone curious about mahjong, whether you’re a complete beginner or just looking for a fun and memorable activity.

5.00It was an amazing evening spent amongst good friends learning Mahjong. 🀄️ Sennie (hope I got her spelling right) was a super patient and amazing teacher to have. Too many rules and things to remember but a great start. Now need to keep up the momentum and practice to make it perfect 🤩

5.00Really excellent evening! I had played before but my partner was completely new to the game and the teacher Kay pitched it perfectly. She gives lots of information but also lets you learn by playing yourself. The two hours flew by and we learnt so much. Completely recommend! Thank you!
