We loved the experience with Mr. Santiago. He showed us many birds and was very informative. We learned a lot about the culture, food, animals and nature. It was a perfect “cruise port” experience, far away from crowded places.

I was the second passenger on the previous review. Without a doubt, this was the best day of our vacation. Nelson was an exemplary tour guide. Even on the drive to the mangroves, he regaled us with stories and explanations about the geography and history of Guatemala. His English was impeccable, and his knowledge of the flora and fauna was extensive. Plus, he was fun! The mangroves were fascinating. At the end of the trip, we went to a local place for lunch, sat at the edge of the beach and ate amazing food. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Excellent wildlife experience. It felt safe. I got lots of great photos. It was off the beaten path which is a welcome change from the cruise ship tours. It was just myself and friend and Nelson (guide) He was knowledgeable on birding etc. I have spent a lot of time in nature and in small boats and this met my expectations. We did the boating experience in Monterrico and spent time in the Turtle rescue center. We had lunch at a nice place on the beach. This was one of our best excursions. It was on time and generous in time for trip. Nelson was good company and professional
