What To Expect
Busselton Jetty
The longest wooden jetty in the southern hemisphere can be found in Busselton, stretching 1.8 kilometres across the idyllic Geographe Bay. Please note that this is a stop for photos and morning tea (at own expense). There is not enough time to take the jetty train.

5.00Our guide/driver Chris is a very knowledgeable and experienced tour guide. His wide knowledge about WA's history and present made long drives very pleased and I learnt a lot about WA and perth in one day. I really enjoyed touring around Margaret River and Busselton regions led by Chris.

3.00Pinnacles Australia put together a good agenda for the day, the driver/guide was very knowledgeable and the coach was modern and comfortable! But there is a fundamental error in their itinerary, which spoilt the day for us!! They do not allow the time at the extraordinary, Brusselton Jetty!! The fabulous little train experience, would and should be included in the itinerary. We were given something like 20 odd mins at this stop, not even enough to barely walk any distance on the wharf! Then taken to a wine tasting, which was very average!!! This should be totally dropped and that time given to experiencing the wharf!! One can go wine tasting anywhere in the world, but one can’t experience the longest southern hemisphere wooden wharf, by train!! The time at the cave and the lighthouse were fine, but then another waste of an hour at Margaret Village! We arrived at 4.30pm for an hour, everything shut at 5pm (except bars etc) so again more time which could have been allocated elsewhere - such a pity!!

5.00Had an incredible & very knowledgeable & friendly coach driver cum guide, Chris who took care of us only 9 passengers on board. Enjoyed the itinerary laid out & delivered very professionally! Dropped me off at my hotel, The RIVER HOTEL in Margaret River upon completion of the tour. Very grateful for that. Gave him a nice big fat tip!

5.00Magnificent trip, early start & late finish made for a long day. Don is a great driver and has a wealth of knowledge. Stories of shipwrecks', early settlers, farming families, wine growing & plenty more provided us with information we would not have got if we self drove.

5.00It’s a long day but you get to see a lot! Plenty of places to stop for snacks so you don’t need to pack too much for the trip. Our tour guide, Roger, was awesome! So knowledgeable about the towns we drove past and lots of history with it. Great experience.

5.00The Margaret River, Caves, Wine and Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse Tour was such a fantastic way to explore the region in one day. The scenery was absolutely stunning, from the beautiful coastline at Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse to the amazing caves underground. The wine tastings were a highlight, with plenty of great local wines and delicious food along the way. Our Coach Captain Anton was everything you would hope for and more, friendly, knowledgeable, and kept the day fun and well organised. His personality was a breath of fresh air. Highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to experience the best of Margaret River without the stress of planning everything yourself!
