• Capturing the Aloha spirit

  We had the most amazing trip all over Maui! Blaze, Spencer, and Nick were fantastic guides that went above and beyond to make sure our entire family enjoyed the trip! We'll never forget the memories made at all the great falls and beach swimming spots, that Huli Huli chicken (and ribs), learning about all of different plants, trees, animals, insight on Hawaiian history, meeting some of the friendliest people, how to do the real shaka, and caryoke! We definitely walked away, ready to share the Aloha spirit with others. Take the tour, support the locals, sing, laugh, eat a few fiddlefern heads on the side of the road, and make memories that last a lifetime! P.S. Blaze is the best!

  

  

  

  

  

  

  

  

• The Best Road to Hana Tour Thanks to Nick!

  We had the best time on our Epic Road to Hana tour, and a huge part of that was because of Nick. He was so personable, funny, and chill, and made the whole day feel effortless. From the moment we got on the Bronco, it felt like we were hanging out with a friend. Nick really went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I were having a great time. He shared interesting stories, kept us laughing all day, and made every stop feel special. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does and cares about his guests having an amazing experience. I asked my husband what was his favorite part about the tour and he said Nick! The Road to Hana is beautiful, but having Nick as our guide made it unforgettable. • Once is a lifetime experience

  It is hard to put this review in words because there are no words that will do this experience justice. It is truly a once in a life time experience that my husband, teenage girls and I will never forget. I did a lot of research before picking Hawaii by Storm. We decided to do a tour because we wanted everyone to completely enjoy the experience and not have to worry about driving. The tour guides drive this road every day. They know how to judge the weather, where the road work is, where the reflection tags are to see traffic around the curves, and heck even where the best bathrooms are. We wanted a private tour because we saw firsthand that the people on the bus tours were told where to be and when to be there, yet still ended up sitting on their bus waiting for that one person. The first question we were asked on our private tour was what did we want to get out of this experience, and at each spot how long we wanted to stay for. We did the Bronco tour the whole way around Hana. It has great to be able to see new sites for the whole day--not the same sites twice. Rental cars and bus tours cannot do the backside of Hana. Imagine riding with the top open, beautiful scenery and not another car in sight--for the same cost as doing a tour bus with another company. Saving the best for last was our guide Mark. By the end of the 12 hours, I can truly say that he felt like ohana, including breaking bread together and a hug goodbye. You could not only hear, but also see his true love for Hawaii and his fellow ohana along the tour. We got to hear, do, and see things along the way because he wanted to make sure that we saw Maui as special of a place as he does. Shawn--I hope you know how lucky you are to have Mark, and everyone should request Mark for their Bronco trip around Maui! Ok--I may have used a lot of words, but again words do not do this day justice. You need to do it for yourself. Again Mahalo Mark for this once in a lifetime experience!

  My family had a great time on our Road to Hana tour. Our guide Mark was amazing. He was extremely kind and shared his Hawaiian culture with us. He did an admirable job navigating that difficult road. It was very nice to be able to enjoy the trip and not stress over driving. I highly recommend this tour

  The Road to Hana with Blaze, our guide, was fantastic! The full circle tour gave us a better perspective of Maui since the ecosystems on the two sides of the island are so different. We observed waterfalls, gorges, and stalls with homemade crafts & food - all pointed out by Blaze. He navigated the roads smoothing out the twists and turns plus getting us up the steep inclines with a burst of speed (ample warning to us.) The Maui by Storm excursion with Blaze was the one we kept telling our friends and fellow travelers about - Blaze a character who charmed us with his native knowledge and exceptional diving skills.   Our tour guide, Nick, was the funniest and nicest guide I've been with. I had so much fine trying to fruit of Hawai'i and he was kind enough to sneak a strawberry papaya and share with us while we were watching sea turtles. Best tour I've been on by far; amazing fruit and the best tour guide! We were on the trip for about ten hours when we planned for eight, and he didn't rush us. Everything felt so nice and the Bronco we rode in was comfy, even though there were five of us (including Nick) in the vehicle.

  We had a WONDERFUL time with Kainani (Nani) on our Road to Hana tour. She was fun, knowledgable and experienced. Her vehicle comfortably held six of us and she had plenty of water and juice (And even extra emergency toilet paper). She was on time meeting our cruise ship at the port and returned us to the port on time. Nani planned an excellent day with well timed stops. She made recommendations and suggestions and then listened to what we wanted. I can't imagine a better tour guide!!

  Jamie our guide was amazing! She shared a lot of the life and culture of the island with us. We really liked having our own private tour. I felt like there was so much to do and we did a lot of it in a full day. All of the spots were wonderful, we made a few stops along the way one was at a local farm. We hiked their property and enjoyed a large fresh fruit plate and coffee from their farm. Jamie kept us entertained and informed. We learned a lot with an even balance of having fun. I strongly recommend the guided Road to Hana tour.

  We booked the private tour in a Bronco and so glad we went on our first day there. Our driver Mak was outstanding! He was full of so much information regarding the island, its history and knew the road and area very well. We more than enjoyed all the spots and places he took us to along the way. All of the food finds he knew there were all so delicious! We are defiantly booking again in future and requesting him. We will be bringing our younger kids and he has a great personality and energy needed for a trip with children. We look forward to how much our kids will enjoy the trip with him!

  Let us begin by saying WOW!!!! We are so happy we chose Maui By Storm to take our family adventure around the East End of Maui. We booked the Famous Epic Road to Hana Adventure: Luxury Expedition. The team at Maui by Storm took the time to listen to our needs and wants for our adventure. And they were so accommodating (especially since part of our group was staying in West Maui and the other part was in the Up Country. After picking up part of our group at their resort in Ka’napalli , we were able to coordinate a great pickup spot for the rest in the Up Country. From there our incredible Guide Mak made our wonderful day an amazing experience. We learned fascinating Hawaiian history, Swam in beautiful pools by gorgeous waterfalls, explored black and red beaches. Had a wonderful lunch in Hana in a beautiful park, and to top the day off we enjoyed viewing the beautiful scenery of the Road to Hana, along with Mak sharing the Rich history and culture of the area. All in all one of the best guided tours we have ever taken.
