Join us for Whale Watching in our cool Alaskan waters and then view one of 38 glaciers from the Juneau Ice Fields - the spectacular Mendenhall Glacier. We guide you on a 2 hour whale watching tour, spotting Humpback whales and other wildlife. Then off to the Mendenhall Glacier to spend some time hiking, watching fish spawn at Steep Creek or enjoy an outstanding view from the Visitor Center. You get 1.5 hours at the park, but don't worry! Great trip. Saw orcas, humpbacks, and sea lions. Captain Jayden and Jimmy were awesome. Glacier portion was also great. Lucked out with good weather and visibility.

We did this tour last week. It was amazing! We easily saw 6+ whales, so many eagles and a sea lion was very curious about our boat. The team on our boat were amazing, very knowledgeable and informative - shout out to captain Dustin and the awesome crew (Viteri and Emily). They took our family photo in front of the glacier and we captured many great pictures of the whale tales! We had plenty of time at the glacier to hike down to nugget falls and back. It was a great day and easily one of our favorite excursions in Alaska. I highly recommend this excursion!

This tour was so great! Our boat crew (Noah, Viteri, and Captain T) were so knowledgeable and provided an amazing experience. We got to see bald eagles, sea lions, humpback whales, and orcas. We had plenty of time at Mendenhall Glacier to walk to Nugget Falls at a leisurely pace and enjoy the area down there a bit. Overall 10 out of 10!

We had an amazing day and thoroughly enjoyed this experience. Details: - meeting point was easy to find, no problem - bus ride to harbor was enjoyable and our driver/guide, Heather, was fantastic. Informative and entertaining, plus we even saw two bear cubs en route - whale watching boat was comfortable, sat inside while cruising out to the area where the whales had been spotted, then free to roam around outside once the boat was idle. It was a great set-up. We saw several whales, including mamas & their calves, seals, and bald eagles. The guides, especially Mason, were knowledgeable and engaging. My kids (11 & 9) loved it. A light snack (choice of granola bar, fruit snack, etc.) was provided. - restrooms are available at the harbor, as well as on the boat (but the ones at the harbor are obviously more comfortable) - after whale watching, different driver- Mel, also wonderful- transported us to the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center. - We took in the views and did the quick hike down to Nugget Falls. Definitely recommend. We had about an hour and a half available and did not feel rushed. - Mel transported us back to the port, another informative and easy ride. The day flowed smoothly and it was nice to have all of the logistics handled. If you’re going on this excursion, be sure to bring binoculars for whale watching and extra snacks.

We got to see whales and sea lions! Awesome! Mendenhall Glacier was a little rushed, though. More time would have been nice!

Perfect combo to do as a cruise excursion with our family! 2 adults and 4 kids - we all enjoyed. Whale watching was fun and comfortable - not bumpy or motion-sickness inducing, as it is not in open ocean; and there was a heated cabin too. The glacier was great to visit. We had enough time there to walk Steep Creek Trail, Photo Point Trail, and Nugget Falls Trail. Nugget Falls Trail brings you right next to the waterfall (with a glacier view), and we even had a little time to hang on the sand right next to the waterfall. Everything felt appropriately timed, well guided, enjoyable.

You don't get too close to the whales. We mostly saw the spouts from their blowing. If this is your first experience, it's great, but after going on a different tour in another town, it was disappointing.
