Join us for Whale Watching in our cool Alaskan waters and then view one of 38 glaciers from the Juneau Ice Fields - the spectacular Mendenhall Glacier. We guide you on a 2 hour whale watching tour, spotting Humpback whales and other wildlife. Then off to the Mendenhall Glacier to spend some time hiking, watching fish spawn at Steep Creek or enjoy an outstanding view from the Visitor Center. You get 1.5 hours at the park, but don't worry! Amazing tour! Russell, Mia, and Ethan were incredible. They knew so much about the wildlife and they each truly felt so passionate about what they do. The whales were incredible to se up close and the tour wasn’t too crowded and was the perfect size. Plenty of room to get good views of the whales. Everything was top notch and I would highly recommend them and use them again! Thank you!

Tour is standard. Bus driver out (Will) was excellent. Pointed out so many eagles for us. Whale watching was just ok. Saw about 2 whales from a very far off distance l. However, not a single crew member had binoculars or pointed out where the whales were. Relied on other visitors to do so. Naturalists gave a speech before seeing the whales and answered questions, but expected them to actually point things out. Glacier portion was just the bus ride. Glacier was wonderful and had plenty of time. Would have liked the option to stop at The Whale Project on the way back but realize that could easily turn into herding cats. Overall it was fine. So if you’re in Juneau with no plans, sure why not.

We had a great time and the whole trip went very smoothly. We were on the boat with captain T, Noah and Ethan. Couldn’t ask for better guides. They were very informative and friendly. We actually got to see a pod of Orca whales as well as humpback whales and eagles. Had a great time with no problems getting back in plenty of time. The glacier was beyond beautiful and Ian was a great driver giving us lots of information on the ride.

We booked the Mendenhall Glacier Park & Ultimate Whale Watch combo, and it was easily the best excursion of our entire cruise. The crew set the tone right away: warm, organized, and incredibly knowledgeable. We started with whale watching and saw orcas, humpback whales, and sea lions, all while the guides made sure the animals were never chased or stressed. You could feel how much they respect the wildlife, and it made the whole experience even better. The boat was comfortable and warm, the commentary was fun and the staff made sure everyone got great views without crowding. It felt like a premium, well‑run operation from start to finish. Afterward, we visited Mendenhall Glacier and hiked to Nugget Falls, which was stunning. On the way back to the port we even spotted a bear, and the timing was so perfectly managed that we still had time to grab Tracy’s Crab Shack before boarding even though this wasn’t a cruise‑line excursion. They got us back exactly when they said they would, which is a huge deal for anyone nervous about booking independently and avoiding cruise‑line markups. If you’re on the fence, book it. The staff, the wildlife experience, the respect for the animals, and the smooth timing make this one of the best‑run excursions you’ll ever take.

Great tour! Rainy so bring a raincoat and some solid shoes. Our guide, Jack, was super knowledgeable and very enthusiastic. Greg and Vietri were also great. We saw orcas, a humpback whale, and sea lions! The light snack was a granola bar, so bring extra snacks to sustain you for 5.5 hours! Our teenagers were a little hangry by the end after they polished off the food we did bring. They do not allow food at the glacier, so you cannot buy more at the visitors center. The glacier and waterfall were beautiful. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Bypass the cruise excursion, go directly with these guys. Captain Dustin put us on Orcas, Humpbacks, and Sea Lions. Added bonus our shuttle guide Mary spotted eagles and a bear on the way to the boat. Great tour

A great experience with professionals from the bus drivers who were knowledgeable about Juneau to the Naturalists and boat captain. Top notch equipment, very organized. Weather was rainy but seeing eagles and whales kept us in awe! We are very glad that we went with this family-owned team.
