5.00Truly an amazing experience. It was great experiencing the food of Mexico City through the eyes of a local. Yibran was a fantastic guide, and a great conversationalist. He created a nice, chill atmosphere. And the stop at his house where he and his wife served us a home-cooked meal with a mezcal tasting? Out of this world. I cannot recommend this enough.

5.00Earlier in the day we enjoyed a cycle tour with the same young couple. The best part was being invited into their apartment for food tasting and different types of tequila. You will enjoy this tour and the food. Make sure you are hungry.

5.00This is an absolute must-do tour! The food at each stop was incredible, with generous portions and variety. I loved learning about the different types of dishes and drinks, where they came from, and getting local perspective on the best things to eat. Yibran (our guide) is super knowledgeable, friendly, and fun, and we had a blast walking around the city. The best part is probably the fact that Yibran and Daniela opened their home to us so we could try home cooked food and fresh fruit. It was all delicious and made for a unique and authentic experience. I would absolutely recommend! And come very hungry! It was the only meal we ate all day :)

5.00This was an amazing tour and by far one of the highlights of our trip to CDMX. Yibran brought us to some incredible culinary spots - some street food vendors, some sit-down restaurants. The best food of all was had back at his beautiful home - tamal cooked by his wonderful wife, Daniella. Come hungry, you will have the opportunity to eat six full meals. Thank you Yibran & Daniella for a great experience and the perfect way to round-out our time in CDMX. We look forward to taking Yibran’s bike tour next time we visit your beautiful city!!

5.00This tour far exceeded expectations thanks to our amazing guide, who told us about the region and history of everything we ate, was fun and personal, and even invited us into his lovely home for a homemade meal. The mezcal tasting was very informative and had the highest quality alcohol I’ve probably ever had. Truly, just book this tour and don’t look back, and don’t eat beforehand!

5.00This was one of the best food tours I have ever been on. Our guide took us to so many different places and gave history of the food, owners, and many suggestions. Then he took us to his beautiful wife’s kitchen with homemade tamales, hot chocolate Mexican style and he taught us about Mezcal, let us try 4 different styles. I learned so much from this tour and I’m from Houston where I thought I knew Mexican food. The guide was so personable and it’s obvious he knows so many people and the vibe was super friendly. Come hungry! You will be full.

5.00This was my second time visiting Mexico City and my second tour (I did the bike tour last year) with the fantastic husband and wife team of Yibran and Daniela. Yibran guided us through an outstanding lineup: birria with consommé, fish taco with jalapeño and shrimp (my favorite), a rich cochinita torta, sope with chicken, and more. The highlight came at Yibran and Daniela’s apartment, where we sampled some unique and delicious fruits (mamey, chicozapote, and chirimoya), ate tamal verde con pollo, drink homeade chocolate caliente con leche (both prapred by Daniela, of course), and sampled ancestral mezcals (Maguey Verde, Tobalá, and Espadín) paired with some chocolates. Just me and a kind older couple from Texas made the experience personal, relaxed, and more authentic. Eat, drink, and be merry!

5.00This was by far one of the BEST food tours I've ever taken, and I've been to quite a few! Yibran knows the area very well and is extremely knowledgeable about the local food culture, scene, cuisine, and the best local places! At every stop that we made, he would explain in great detail about the food we were about to have, where it comes from, how it's made, and a plethora of other details. Very informative, educational, but most importantly, delicious! The absolute BEST part about the tour was the home-cooked meal that was carefully made with top quality, local ingredients, and cooked with love and care. You can literally taste the difference! If you're in Mexico City, this tour is a-must!

5.00I had the most amazing food tour with Yibran and his wife Daniela. Honestly it was probably the best food tour I did all year and I do quite a few and have thus become very picky ;) Yibran was super communicative and checked in with me over WhatsApp as soon as I booked, something I appreciated as it was my first time in Mexico City. A day before he told me other people had to cancel and asked if I still wanted to go ahead on the day, again, something I appreciated a lot. On the day, I was truly in for such a feast and he fed me until I basically begged him to stop lol. All stops were truly local and unique, no Michelin-starred tacos insight but proper authentic eateries. A highlight was definitely the meal and the cacao at their home - it felt very special to be invited into their home and get a true insight of how Mexicans live. Both of them are wonderful warm hosts. If you do any food tour in Mexico City - let this be it, you won't regret it!
