Its an uber drive

2.00We were 4 american couple that had a german speaking driver. Understanding this is a self guided tour, having an english speaking driver may have helped somewhat it making the trip worthwhile. He was basically an uber driver that brought us to 4 stops....little heidelberg, weikersheim castle, rothernberg and wurzburg. It would have been helpful to hear something about each place and maybe some tips. You dont have to be guide, just someone from area. At the castle we had a german guide....in rothenberg the driver took us to a terrible restaurant and most of the attractions like the crime museum and st. Jacobs church were closed. By the time we gor to Wurzburg the buidling was closed and it got dark in 10 minutes. If you think its worth driving to 3 places for 30 minutes at each and one place for 2 hours after a one hour too long lunch for $270 a couple...well do it. It was for us a 10 hour uber ride, actually uber drivers gave us more.
