5.00This was a great way to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city. We had a great tour guide and although it was extremely warm, he made sure we took breaks as needed. Although this is not super strenuous, I would not suggest to anyone that is not in average shape. There was a lot of walking and in some areas, it was uphill. The views were amazing and the monastery was gorgeous!

5.00We really appreciated our guide who was attentive and well informed. We were glad we chose a tour with the funicular ride, which was a novelty my 19-year-old daughter and I both enjoyed. The hike down also provided lovely views. It’s a lot of direct sun and requires some agility to not slip on some steeper stretches. Not a challenging hike cardio-wise but folks need to be decently fit and sure-footed. If I were by myself I might’ve preferred to just explore Montserrat on my own time and pace, to get more into the spiritual intrigue of it all. But for a nice six-hour easy outing, this was a perfectly pleasant way to experience Montserrat.

5.00David was wonderful! He was friendly, well informed and high energy. The beauty of nature there was magnificent and the hike moderate. If you are fully mobile, its great. The monastery is no Sagrada Familia, but the mountains and the tour make up for it.

5.00Our tour guide Jordi was excellent, very knowledgeable and patient. We had a group of 10 which included 2 older adults, 4 adults, and 4 children ages 7, 9, and 10. Jordi made it interactive for both the children and the adults and kept the tour interesting throughout.
