Michie was amazing on our day in Nagasaki. It was hot and we walked a ton of steps (uphill) and her patience was incredible. We started at Inasuyama Observation Deck to see the city and harbor. Gorgeous views. Visited the Peace Park (large), the Hypocenter (somber) and the Atomic Bomb Museum. The Museum was very crowded, but Michie had much patience as we wanted to read and learn. We never felt rushed. Next stop was the Dejima Wharf, we stopped for a bite to eat (local fare) and then walked to mall. You could see the ship from this side of the wharf. Next stop was Glover Garden...after a few enormous escalators and many many steps we reached the magnificent gardens and walked around. Lots of shopping and restaurants and on the way. Easy walk from this point back to the ship. Amazing day filled with learning, history, exploration, tram rides, food, and beautiful sites. Highly suggest this private tour.

Spent a wonderful day in Nagasaki with Yuri Yamada. After meeting us at the point we got off our cruise ship, she took us to multiple locations that needed to be seen. We started with the spectacular view of Nagasaki, from the Observation Tower, then to the Peace Park, Hypocenter, and the Atomic Bomb museum. We also saw the Spectacle Bridge, the Glover Garden and the Aura Cathedral. Yuri is a very knowledgeable, kind and friendly guide. She also demonstrated her skill at making the most use of the limited time we had. Thanks for a great experience in Nagasaki, Yuri.

Our tour guide Marie was a delight from start to finish. Very friendly, knowledgeable and interested in our world experiences too. This was an easy paced walking tour by tram, bus and aerial gondola. It was great fun and we had a truly authentic experience. We went to the atomic bomb site and museum (very poignant) then travelled to an observation deck by gondola, had lunch then viewed the spectacles bridge ( the reflection makes it so) and finished at Glover Garden which was beautiful. All entrance fees and transport costs were included (except lunch) and plenty of toilet stops if we needed them. What made it extra special was Marie's commentary combined with her experience of living in Japan. The similarities and differences were very interesting. We felt like kindred spirits by the end. Well done Marie, you were outstanding.

Hiro and Vichka met us just past customs which made it very easy to begin the tour! We boarded a tram and first went to the Peace Park in Nagasaki, followed by a visit to the Atomic Bomb Museum. Then a stop for lunch at a local restaurant. One of our guests had an allergy issue but Hiro suggested another restaurant that was great! After lunch the tour continued to one of the oldest bridges in Nagaski and then to Grover Garden. Our 12 person group was extremely happy with the tour and the way Hiro and Vichka took such good care of us! Definitely recommend this tour!

Hiro and Vichka were wonderful guides today and were so accommodating for our group’s pace (like slowing for breaks on hills). Their guidance thru the tram system was a great way to see a lot of the city. Lots of walking but it was worth it. Thank you Hiro and Vichka!!

Our guide was very knowledgable and flexible conducting the tour. We do not move well for long distances, so our guide was able to juggle the tour to cover all the important locations.
