Gary was extremely knowledgeable but almost as important, He was very enthusiastic. He obviously enjoys the city and showing it off. I often do these sorts of tours when I’ve never been to a city before because it gives me a chance to see what I want to go to later in greater detail. And this accomplished that. I visited the World War II museum afterward and I’m going to the city Park sculpture Garden and museum of New Orleans tomorrow.

This tour hits the high spots in Nola. Gary was a wonderful guide and because he was a History major in college, he really delved into the subjects of the tour. I was amazed at how low (below sea level) the neighborhoods were that flooded during Katrina.

Great tour to do when the weather is less than ideal and/or you don't want to do a lot of walking or maybe you are limited in how much walking you can do.
