Taste your way through Newcastle East on a small-group walking tour that pairs five local food and drink stops with the city's best street art and sculptures. Your local guide shares the stories behind both: the makers, the murals, and the food scene reshaping this old harbour city.
Over an easy 2.5 km stroll, you'll sample a curated selection of five tastings, including a craft beer stop, while discovering hidden laneway artworks and public sculptures most visitors walk right past. It's a relaxed, sociable couple of hours built around connection and storytelling, ideal for food lovers, art fans, and anyone wanting to see the real Newcastle beyond the obvious.
Small groups mean you'll never feel rushed, and there's always time for questions, photos, and a chat with your guide.

Firstly great thanks to Keira, born & bred in Newcastle, knows the history & art landscape of the region in-depth to make it a very informative tour. Secondly the food was 2nd to none, so much so the following day we went back to 3 of the tour food stops for breakfast, lunch & dinner! Not only that we had alot of fun and there's not that much walking. Thankyou Keira, we hope to return to do a Hunter Valley tour with Newy Tour Co!

I had the pleasure of doing this tour and it was fantastic! Keira, our guide, was very welcoming and knowledgeable with all aspects of Newcastle and the art scene. We enjoyed a very laid back and leisurely walk visiting many delicious food locations. Tasting paddles at a local brewery, Italian paninis whilst on our way to sample some Asian dumplings before discovering more art and a stop for prawns on the beach. The walk was fairly easy with lots to see on the way. Last stop was at Newcastle Beach where we enjoyed some ice-cream. Beautiful street art in lots of places. Definitely a great way to see what Newcastle has to offer.

Wonderfully engaging walking tour of historic Newcastle led by Keira. Didn't need lunch beforehand nor dinner afterwards as the beer tasting and multiple food stops were extremely filling. Keira was an informative guide, with answers to our myriad diversions and questions about Newcastle (why isn't the female Lord Mayor called Lady Mayor?). Enjoyed every minute of our walk including the surprise birthday 🎂 mini cake! "You'd be silly not to take this tour".
