What To Expect
Night Tour Experience the beautiful starry skies and subtropical jungle creatures of Iriomote Island! Enjoy a night full of Iriomote Island's unique charm! Search for creatures in the jungle, and if the weather is clear, marvel at the starry night sky! Reservations are accepted until 7:00 PM on the day of the tour! Example Tour Schedule ① 8:00 PM: Pick up at your accommodation (Uehara area only) ↓ ② 8:15 PM: Arrive at the spot ↓ ③ 8:45 PM: Jungle exploration and stargazing! ↓ ④ 9:45 PM: Tour ends! We'll drop you off at your accommodation. *Schedule may vary depending on the weather and tide conditions on the day of the tour. Important Information for Tour Participation Please read the following carefully to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Punctuality and Prior Contact Please be on time for your designated meeting. If you're late or don't show up without prior notice, it will be considered a cancellation, and cancellation fees may apply. If you'll be late, please contact us in advance. Final Confirmation We'll send you details regarding the meeting location and time by phone or email the day before your tour. Please make sure to register contact information where you can be reached in Japan. If you don't receive a confirmation by 6:00 PM the day before, please contact "IRIOMOTE ADVENTURE PiPi" using the method described on your ticket. If you've requested pick-up from a hotel on Iriomote Island, your pick-up time might differ from what's displayed. To confirm your exact pick-up time the day before, please contact us using the method described on your ticket. Minimum Participants The minimum number of participants for this tour is 2. If this number isn't met, the tour will be canceled free of charge (we'll notify you the day before your tour). Participation Requirements This tour is for participants aged 3 to 65 years old. The following individuals cannot participate: Pregnant individuals Children under 3 years old Individuals with pre-existing medical conditions If you have any concerns, please consult us beforehand. Equipment and Safety For your safety, please always follow your guide's instructions. Weather Tours generally proceed in the rain. However, tours may be cancelled if the field is deemed unsafe. Attire and Preparation Please wear clothes you don't mind getting wet. There are no restrooms at the activity site, so please use facilities beforehand. Participation under the influence of alcohol is strictly prohibited. Language Support Tours are conducted in Japanese or English. Depending on booking availability, tours may only be available in Japanese.

5.00It was very good. We could see the starry sky, we could see the big palm crabs. It was so nice to have a picture of the starry sky taken. I was lucky to get a glimpse of some fireflies that I thought I wouldn't be able to see at the wrong time. Now I want to go and see the Milky Way.

5.00It was also my first time in the jungle at night and I was extremely excited. Hermit crabs, palm crabs, scorpions … just as I was looking for all kinds of creatures and looking at them, the starry sky was all over me… it was truly beautiful. The guide, Shou-chan, was also very friendly and had a great time. It was one of the best memories of Iriomote Island. I'd love to be part of it again! ❤

5.00I made a sudden booking for the evening on the day, but all the participants were good people and the tour guide Shou-chan was full of tips, which was great! I didn't meet the Iriomote wildcat, but I did meet a lot of the palm crabs I've been waiting for, and the starry sky I saw on the beach was inspiring! I'm so glad I took part 😊

4.00A short walk a long the jungle coastline looking for crabs, snakes and some animals quite visible under UV lights. After the stroll, cruising witht the tourbus in hope of seeing the Irimote wildcat. In think the chances are low due to small population on this big island. Pick up and drop off at your accommodation, which was great due to bad weather. Good organised and structured tour, I think the guide has much to tell, but speaks English very little. I was the only foreign person in the group. Thank you.

5.00I was worried about the impact of the typhoon, but it was sunny and I enjoyed it. The guide dropped us off at the hotel and we went to the jungle first with three groups of five As soon as I got out of the car, I got a coconut crab!! This is a good start and tension 🆙 You can find saxophone hubs, crabs, spotted scorpions if you walk. I was so excited. ※Long sleeves and long pants are better because there are spiny plants in the jungle. We went through the jungle and out on the beach and looked at the sky and saw the stars in the sky!! Stars beyond imagination It was a moving starry night. It was all very satisfying and very moving.

5.00We went on a night tour as well as a day tour. Yume-san was in charge at that time too, and it was a great tour! I was wondering if I could see the stars, but I was able to see a perfect starry sky, palm crabs and hermit crabs, a natural monument. Speaking of travel, going out for dinner is one of the best things to do, but I’m glad we had such fun on the night tour too 🌟 thank you so much for giving us some pictures!

5.00A trip to Iriomote Island for the new moon to see the stars in the full sky. Through the jungle where I was taken, I found myself on an empty beach, and when I looked up at the sky, I saw the starry sky I wanted to see. Impressive ... When I was there until it was really dark, I saw the full starry sky, the Milky Way for the first time. And shooting stars. I forgot to try lying down, but I'll keep it when I join again. Thank you •‿•!!!

Not only did I get to know the nature of various Iriomote islands because I never walk in the jungle at night, but I also enjoyed going around with another family who participated with me thanks to Mr. Seki (our guide)! I was also very happy to see a perfect starry sky! When it comes to what we can see and what animals we can meet on different days, I thought it would be fun every day, and I thought it would be wonderful to have a guide who can make the day the best 👏
