This plan includes SUP or canoe cruising in Miyara River, a mangrove river designated as a national cultural asset as a natural monument.

During the tour, you can observe the magnificent mangrove forest and its inhabitants, and enjoy the relaxing time with nature of Ishigaki.

The field is protected by mangrove forests, so the tour is not easily affected by weather conditions and can be held stably.

We recommend this course even for beginners.

Late Bookings (After 5:00 PM) Come directly to Ishigaki Port Remote Island Terminal. Participation Requirements Ages: SUP 3–59 / Canoe 3–65. *Children aged 3 to 11 may be guided to use a more stable canoe instead of SUP depending on the sea conditions and the number of participants on the day. Contact us if concerned about fitness. Gear & Safety Life jacket required. Refusal may result in exclusion. Follow guide instructions. Weather Operates in light rain. May cancel if unsafe. Clothing & Preparation Wear clothes that can get wet. Use restroom beforehand (none on-site). No alcohol allowed. Timing Schedule may vary depending on the day or weather. Showers Hot showers available near Ishigaki Port (ask your guide). Language Tours in Japanese or English. May be Japanese-only depending on the day.

Great activity to do while in Ishigaki. Very peaceful and well organised. Kenji was an excellent guide, who made a great effort to connect with all participants, and took great photos and videos of us. We were in a tour of 7 participants, some canoe, some SUP so the pace is matched to suit the group.
It was fun.

My 8 year old daughter and I had a lovely mangrove canoeing trip with Kenzi (Pipi Adventures) this morning. Even though it was drizzling, it was a lovely paddle through the serene Miyara river. The trip was well organised and good guide to participant ratio (1:4 in our case). I would have given 5 stars of not that there was no place to change after the paddle and was not forewarned. It’s pretty much an open area where the vehicles are parked. For those who wish to change to dry clothes, do bring along a very large towel to change in modesty, even if behind the bus. Otherwise, it’s a short ride (about 15-20 mins) back to the port terminal drop off, and you will only sit in squelching clothes for a short while. That said, you can still be totally dry throughout the trip, unless of course, in our case, it was drizzling throuhout. Would recommend for reliability and effectiveness.
You can enjoy it even in the rain!

Sunrise sup was scheduled, but due to the weather, it was changed to a mangrove canoe in the morning. I also saw gobies, herons and other creatures near the water. I was worried that I would be able to enjoy it in the big rain, but the sight of the rain popping on the water was very fantastic. It's fun even in the rain! It's more fun to rain!! It was an experience that made me feel that way!
It was a rainy day and it was a very pleasant memory

It was fun to be able to always be well guided on the road and during the tour. Thanks to knowing Ishigaki Island trivia, I like Ishigaki Island even more♪ We were happy to eat the onisasa that they recommended on the way home!

Thank you very much for your time! It was my first time canoeing, but my bright and cool brother kindly taught me and I enjoyed the experience! We enjoyed talking about various things while we were on the move☺️ I came on a trip and had to reschedule due to heavy rain since yesterday, and was worried about it again due to rain today, but the heavy rain was rather fun and it became an unforgettable memory 🌴🌺 If you come to the stone wall again, I want to do it! Thank you very much.

It was my first time kayaking, but it was great to enjoy the nature of the slow current Miyara River with my friends. I enjoyed it even in the rain because it gets wet originally. I recommend it to be cloudy during the rainy season, as I row in areas with no shadows. Activities that change your perspective and make you feel relaxed and natural. Originally, I had the flexibility to change my morning reservation to morning on the day and afternoon. If you think of it, you should call me on the day.
