Kati ghati Gate is been used since its construction as the entry gate of Chanderi for visitors from Malwa & Bundelkhand. Khandagiri jain temples were carved out of the rock about 700 years ago. Chanderi is most likely the centre of Jain Culture & attracting the devotees of Jainism for at least 900 year Apart from its historic monuments, chanderi is also famous for hand-woven Chanderi saris .More than 50 percent of Chanderi's 40,000 populations is implicated with hand loom cottage industries, making sari, and other dress fabric. Chanderi Fort

Chanderi Fort, a vast Mughal fort, dominates the skyline of the lovely old town of Chanderi. The main gate of the fort is known as the "Khooni Darwaza". Chanderi fort is situated on a hill 71 meter above the town. The fortification walls were constructed mainly by the Muslim rulers of Chanderi. To the southwest of the fort there is a curious gateway called katti-ghatti made through a hill side.
