Warwick Castle
Over a thousand years of history are waiting to be discovered at this fantastic medieval castle. Set against the River Avon within 64 acres of landscaped parkland, this beautiful castle once belonged to the most powerful man in England, The Earl of Warwick. Learn how the 'Kingmaker' was the only man who dared defy the King, and how he defeated the armies of King Edward IV in battle before taking the King himself as a prisoner. Explore the lavishly decorated State Rooms and 17th-century Great Hall; a room boasting an impressive collection of artefacts including suits of armour and medieval weapons. In the castle's 14th-century gaol, the original dungeon, see graffiti left behind by prisoners hundreds of years ago. How many names can you spot?

Our amazing team Robert and Marick really made this day trip exceptional. My spouse booked this trip for us as he knew I had always wanted to visit Oxford, and he loves visiting castles, so this trip was very well suited for our likes. Robert, our guide, was exceptional throughout: he was very knowledgable, made the fun facts and explanations fun, clear and entertaining and directions were also clear. I appreciated Robert’s explanations, especially at Oxford since this was my favourite spot, and I found he really tailored his remarks to his audience, getting lots of laughs out of us. Truly, this day was remarkable, and I really appreciated our guide Robert and our driver Marick, who made transportation seamless.

Had a lovely experience with Godfrey through the day. But yeah feels a little rushed at the end of the day in Oxford. But overall I’d say a day well-spent!

Saul was patient, knowledgeable, and friendly. We had a bilingual group and he didn’t skip a beat making sure both English and Spanish-speaking guests were fully filled in. He also helped a guest who was given incorrect information about the itinerary (don’t bank on getting much fill of the Cotswolds- it is just a drive by but the insight Saul shared on the history and architecture of the area was thoughtful and it was enough to satisfy curiosity for anyone who doesn’t want that to be a main attraction.) The stops are quick and it was a rainy day but that’s all part of the adventure. Shakespeare’s birthplace was a bucket list trip for me so that was my highlight. We grabbed lunch at the Boston Tea Party (delicious, quick, and healthier options). It poured as we were about to wander the river and we made it back to the bus soaking wet but dried off (mostly) before Oxford, where it rained again (lightly this time). Oxford was a bucket list item for my daughter so we all left with a little taste of the countryside. Hope we can return for a longer visit one day!

Our guide Phil and driver Alex were fun to be with on this tour. Phil was very knowledgeable about every place we visited as well as pointing places of interest along the way. He was able to convey a lot of information without you tuning out from information overload. His sense of humour only added to keeping things interesting. Phil made a point of interacting individually with everyone on the bus so you all felt included, not just the people at the front. Alex's driving superb. As a retired transit driver/Supervisor I was very at ease with the he maneuvered through some very tight spots as well as on the busy highways. Cheers to Phil and Alex, thank you for a fun Stress free day.

Had a nice day with Angela and Greg exploring various destinations. The trip was smooth and well managed. Thank you! (It probably also helped that the bus was half full)

It is an excursion in English, not as it is sold in Spanish. The guide put in effort, but everything is in English. Jokes, anecdotes, experiences. In important places, the guide speaks in Spanish to explain. For example, in Shakespeare's house, the guide did not enter, and we did not understand anything. The costs are above the bus. We could not take a single photo. In the castle, they leave you alone. The guide does not enter. So it was the same to go alone. It says excursion in Spanish, but it is not like that. A disappointment.
