Take your first step into the world of scuba diving with the PADI Open Water Diver Course, the most recognized entry-level certification. After completing the course, you will be certified to dive independently to a maximum depth of 18 meters anywhere in the world.
Day 1 covers basic theory and confined water skills, practiced in a pool or shallow bay.
Days 2 and 3 include four open water dives from the boat at beautiful coral reefs around Koh Chang and Koh Rang National Park.
Small groups ensure personal attention and a relaxed learning pace. All equipment, hotel transfer, lunch, and drinks are included. Learn essential dive skills, gain confidence underwater, and discover vibrant marine life while earning your certification.

Diving within 18 hours of flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor

What To Expect
Over three days, you will complete the full PADI Open Water Diver course, the most recognized entry-level scuba certification. On the first day, you’ll meet your instructor for a relaxed theory session covering the basics of diving, followed by practicing essential skills in a swimming pool or shallow bay. On the second and third days, you’ll join our dive boat and complete four open water dives at beautiful coral reefs around Koh Chang and Koh Rang National Park. During these dives, you’ll apply the skills you learned, gain confidence underwater, and explore vibrant marine life. Throughout the course, you’ll train in small groups for personal attention, using well-maintained equipment. Upon completion, you’ll be certified to dive independently to 18 meters anywhere in the world.

5.00I made the open water diver here. First i made an adventure dive here for 5000thb including 2 dives. I dived with Markus(German Guy) and Palmy. They made it really nice for me. After this great experience i decided to do the openwater diver license. The price is normally 15500thb, but if you do the adventure dive first you pay 5000thb less(so only additional 10500thb) Markus and Palmy did it great again. I always felt totally safe and understood. It took me only took me 3 days to get the license. Day 1: 2 Adventure dives Day 2: Pool diving and theory in self study(including the exams) Day 3: 3 Open water dives and at the end getting the license So thank you really much Markus and Palmy for showing me the great experience of diving!

5.00I did my OW course at BB Divers with Steve, and he was a great instructor. As a complete beginner, I really appreciated his “monkey see, monkey do” style of teaching… especially after the e-learning, it made transitioning into the practical side feel a lot less overwhelming. He explained things in a simple, straightforward way, made sure I felt comfortable at every stage, and kept everything calm and easy to follow. I always felt happy and well taken care of. The dives themselves were smooth and really fun, and Steve struck a good balance between being professional and keeping the vibe relaxed. Honestly I don’t think it could’ve gone any better. I’m really thinking about doing my Advanced OW diver later in this year, it’s really that good!

5.00quite briefly I decided to do the course... via WhatsApp just before 6 pm I asked if a course would be possible for the coming day... 10 minutes later my participation including pick-up at the hotel was confirmed... With Ivo I had the course and can highly recommend it... with patience, humor and the friendly hints, which helps so that small mistakes do not become big problems... so if you think about it... my tip: Make it!

5.00BB divers is a well oiled machine. My instructor was Steve Ellery. We hit it off right away. He was very personable and patient. We went at my pace. Steve has traveled the world diving and has many interesting stories that I enjoyed very much. He has no ego and nothing to prove. Steve made it all about helping me get the most out of the experience. I highly recommend Steve. I felt like I had walked away with a new friend. The kind of friend that no matter how long time goes by without talking, that we would just pick up where we left off. I hope to get to see him soon. Cheers!

5.00We booked the course through GetYourGuide and are completely satisfied. The communication was fast and uncomplicated, even the hotel pickup (Oasis) went smoothly. Our instructor Ivo from Switzerland was extremely competent, relaxed and professional – we can highly recommend him. Due to illness, we had to interrupt the course after the first day, but were able to continue it without any problems five days later. We felt safe and well looked after at all times and are very grateful for this great experience. The wreck of the HTMS Chang was an absolute highlight!
