This was a cluster. Our Travel agent - Compass Travel Agency booked this via Viator. The real tour operator was TUI Musement. We checked into our hotel Le Camp Spa and asked the staff to confirm the address since they was confusion on our part. The address on Viator was via Prato della Valle 112 which was a bank but it said meet guide next to the fountain. There was a market between the fountain and 112 so we didn't see it. Our appointment was at 3:00 and we waited 20-25 minutes - no guide. My phone died and luckily an native called the number which was Tui Musement, that time they said at the fountain vs when we verified prior. We got to fountain probably 3:30 waited 10 minutes and no guide. We then started touring on our on. The area is beautiful and we did go to the Cathedral of Padua and were impressed. We had tickets for the Scrovegni chapel so headed over there via cab for our 4:30 appointment. Our guide finally showed up and said she had tried contacting us and gave a short tour of chapel. On the way from Prato della Valle, my wife left her phone in cab and we lost us. The guide tried contacting the various cab companies but with no luck. Our travel agent contracted with Viator which had TUI Musement as contractor. Tui's instruction was different than Viator - it said FOUNTAIN in Prato Valle but Viator said address by fountain. Compass got our money back for the tour not taken. Whose fault - we confirmed 3 times prior to walking to 112. The 4th time they said fountain but prior Musement said use address on ticket, which we did. I don't fault guide she said she talked to Travel agent and said she changed meeting place but Compass nor us has anything in writing.

Nice way to discover Padova. The guide was knowledgeable. She did a wonderful job explaining the art in St Anthony’s church. We walked through various important sites, and learned about the history of the this charming city.

The visit to St Anthony’s Basilica was incredible. Our guide was so knowledgeable about details of artists, dates, events, and architecture. Without our guide we would have missed so much. We highly recommend this guide.
