Postojna Cave
A journey into the 2 milion old cave with a spectacular interior. Postojna Cave is an impressive cave with global recognisability that has already reached 38 milion visitors in 200 years since it was opened to the public. A wonder happend when the Pivka river threaded its way in underground world and create firstly a cave and later a breathtaking interior with a fantastic web of tunnels, galleries, halls and passages. A picturesque karst phenomena created also an unique natural creations as stalactite, stalagmite, curtains, petrified waterfalls and cave pearls. One of the endless wonders in the cave is also so called »human fish« or »proteus« - a blind animal most notable for its adaptations to a life of complete darkness in its underground habitat.

5.00Lake Bled, Postojna Cave, and Predjama Castle were all great, but DJ really made the day special. The weather was pouring, and he got completely soaked, yet he stayed positive, energetic, and attentive throughout the tour. He genuinely cared about making sure everyone had a great experience. Thanks, DJ, for your professionalism and dedication despite the rain. Highly recommended!

5.00Initially, we benchmarked self travel to these places, but the price is well worth it. We had David as our guide, knowledgable and entertaining in sharing lots of information about the area and Slovenia during the journeys. The castle section was brisk, but this was appropriate enough to get all the info, a few pictures and a very brief cafe stop. However, if there’s crowds you’ll need to make sure to work through these to maximise what you see. The caves were great too, pick up was easy, we head to the map pin provided and David exited the van and approached us, makes it much easier than hesitantly asking around trying to find out which we are to go to. Overall, cannot fault the tour/experience and have already booked another trip tomorrow with this operator.

Predjama Castle is a true marvel, beautifully and uniquely built right into the cliffside. As for Postojna Cave, words cannot describe it; it truly feels like entering a completely different world underground. This tour was organized flawlessly and is highly recommended!

5.00Our guide( sorry name eludes me) was simply the best. As we drove to the Castle and Caves and back his passing on of information relating to culture and history of Slovenia was really good. Beth venues simply stunning…….The Caves were awe inspiring. Well organised trip….given enough time in each venue to thoroughly appreciate everything.

5.00Very good trip. I think max people would. be about 10 which is perfect. Guide Matic spoke very good English knew a lot about Slovenia. He was also good at letting us know it would be 10 degrees in the caves so being more clothes

5.00Amazing tour! The cave and the castle are truly spectacular and definitely among the highlights of Slovenia. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating throughout the day. The small semi-private group made the experience even better - there were only six of us on the tour, which made it very comfortable and personal. A fantastic experience overall, and I highly recommend it!
