On this 8-9-hour tour visit Echmiadzin Mother Cathedral, the main cathedral of the Armenian Apostolic Church and the very first Christian cathedral in the World (from outside). It is listed among the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Also see the church of St. Gayane and St. Hripsime churches that are among the three churches in Echmiadzin dedicated to the Christian women-martyrs escaped from Rome with their abbess Gayane. Stop in Zvartnots, the medieval temple of St. Gregory built in the 7th century. It was one of the tallest buildings of the time (45-49m). Today the ruins of the temple can be seen in Zvartnots. Visit Garni, the only pagan temple which exists in Armenia before moving onto Geghard monastery, a complex which is carved in a cave.
All the sights are listed among the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Saint Hripsime Church
St. Hripsime church is one of the famous ecclesiastical buildings in the city of Echmiadzin. This is the developed and perfect example of cross-cupola churches in Armenia. The church is notable with its architectural simplicity and loftiness. The tomb of the Christian martyr Virgin Hripsime is in the sacristy of the church. The site is included in UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List.

5.00We enjoyed our first trip so much that we booked a second tour with Rose and Sasha, and it was just as fantastic! This time, we explored the religious heart of Armenia, visiting the Echmiadzin Cathedral, the stunning ruins of Zvartnots Cathedral, and several other beautiful historical churches. It was a truly magnificent sightseeing experience. Then they took us on lunch in the Echmiadzin complex. It was once again amazing delicious food. Once again, Rose was an outstanding guide. Her profound knowledge and the genuine love she has for her country truly brought the rich history of these spiritual sites to life. Sasha was, as always, the perfect driver. He is quiet, highly professional, and takes exceptional care of his guests. We felt incredibly safe and comfortable the entire time. If you are visiting Armenia, do yourself a favor and explore it with this amazing team. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
Amazing trip to Lori region

5.00We actually did a different tour to the Alphabet monument and then headed to the Lori region and visited the fortress at Lori, Parni Castle, Haghpat monastery. We stayed overnight in Lori and then the next day we went to Etchmiadzin Cathedral and museum. Our tour guide Anoush was very good. Spoke great English and was very knowledgeable. Our driver Hayk was also great and his driving was excellent. Thank you both for an amazing experience.
