What To Expect
Kinkakuji Temple
Zen Buddhist temple whose top floors are covered in gold leaf, set beside a reflective pond. Part of the UNESCO “Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto” and one of Japan’s most photographed landmarks.
Arashiyama
Scenic district in western Kyoto with the Sagano bamboo grove and Togetsukyo Bridge over the Katsura River. Famous for seasonal views of cherry blossoms and autumn colors.
