Meet your guide at the iconic Large Onofrio’s Fountain, one of Dubrovnik’s most recognisable landmarks and the historic entrance to the Old Town. Built in the 15th century as part of Dubrovnik’s advanced water supply system, the fountain symbolised the Republic’s engineering achievements and public infrastructure. This meeting point sets the stage for your journey through centuries of cultural exchange, trade, and coexistence within the city walls.
Brsalje Street
Stop at the historic Jewish Fountain, also known as the “Kosher Fountain,” an important gathering place for Dubrovnik’s Jewish community. Located just outside the Old Town walls, this fountain served both practical and symbolic roles, reflecting the daily life and movement of Jewish residents and merchants entering the city. Valentina greeted us at the designated location - on time and with a big smile! Hands down, the best tour guide in all of our years of touring! She was passionate about Dubrovnik and knowledgeable about the vast history. Of the city, country and region. Valentina connected our background with her experience and specific facts of the tour. The visit to the Synagogue was saved for last and was made more meaningful because of Valentina’s knowledge of the location and area

Valentina was wonderful. She packed a lot of information into 2 hours. We had a much better understanding of Dubrovnik after. The Jewish portion was a little short but also informative. The visit inside the synagogue was very touching to us.

Very interesting guide Tomislava was very knowledgeable and gave us great insight. She made the best of the heavy rain situation and showed us all the key sights.

Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging, my family enjoyed the tour very much. The tour guide went over general Croatian as well as Jewish history, which was very interesting. I do not think you need to do two separate tours whilst you visit Dubrovnik, you cover lots of information in one go. Was nice to have a private tour especially as my parents are older so appreciated the guide's attention to taking things slower and stopping when needed. Would recommend!

Knowledgeable guide gave good overview of Croatian and city histories. Jewish history and sites were meaningful and sad, of course. Valentina is terrific.
