Our Private Ten Lakes Spectacular Tour is the perfect opportunity for small groups of friends or family to enjoy their very own Private Tour. Our luxury, spacious 6 Seater minibus will allow you to travel the central Lake District in style.
The Lake District is renowned for being the most beautiful corner of England. This full-day tour introduces you to ; a magnificent scenery of mountains, valleys, and lakes from the south to the north. The tour includes a lake cruise, a visit to the 4,000-year-old Castlerigg Stone Circle, set high on the fells, and time in Keswick for lunch.
On this Lake District tour you will also travel over mountain passes, through beautiful valleys, see waterfalls, and traditional Lakeland villages.
Along the way, you will pass some of the region’s most spectacular sights, such as Borrowdale Valley, Newlands Valley, Thirlmere, and Grasmere. A highlight is the Castlerigg Stone Circle, one of the most famous and most visited stone circles in the country.

5.00Excellent tour. So easy to book online or you can phone the office. All of the Mountain Goat drivers are friendly & very knowledgeable. It is the only way to see the beautiful scenery of the lake district. Would definitely recommend Mountain Goat Tours.

5.00Me and my husband got picked up from Windermere by are driver for the day Steve. What a fantastic day it was too, didn’t realise just how little we knew about the Lake District. Steve was fantastic with all the information you could need about what is on are door step.

5.00We took the Mountain Goat Tours- Ten lakes Septacular day tour. That was one of the best decisions ever we made. The tour was well organised and we were able to visit most of the beautiful places in Lake district and were able to appreciate the most spectacular views. Our tour leader was the most amazing person. He is Peter Fox . He is a wonderful person with vast knowledge on Lake district. We were privileged to have him as our tour guide. He made all of us were comfortable and he explained everything in a beautiful manner. Highly recommend Mr Peter Fox and Mountain Goat tours

5.00This was a great trip that took in so many sights that I could not have covered using the local bus network. I would certainly recommend this tour. Our driver and guide, Steve, provided added value. He was very knowledgeable and made me feel safe driving on some very narrow and bendy roads, reaching difficult-to-find spots. Steve was also friendly and positive, a genuine sort of guy. I was delighted with the overall experience.

5.00It was really a great experience. Made much more interesting by our friendly guide Mark who was so knowledgeable and made us all feel at home. We saw beautiful places and great views of the lakes from different angles and we have amazing pictures of all the sights. Can’t wait for my next visit and look forward to using Mountain Goats tours again. I highly recommend them to everyone. Huge shout out to our Guide Mark for making our first visit to the Lake District great indeed
