This is a thorough but leisurely-paced walking tour that covers most of Dublin's major and minor sites. History, culture, architecture, Irish society, Irish language, literature, and many-a-joke to be heard during our jaunt around the fair city.
Everything can be tailored to suit you.
A coffee break and a lunch break will be included to nicely punctuate your Dublin experience.

Optional:
- Guided tour of Old Library of Trinity College where the Book of Kells is housed. Note that if this option is selection, the National Museum of History and Archaeology must be substituted out. On Mondays, the National Museum of History and Archaeology is closed.
- Please note that there is an entrance fee for the Book of Kells (adults and children) – you can purchase the tickets at the door.

What To Expect
Trinity College Dublin
Visting the campus. If you want to visit the Old Library and Book of Kells, please book our 5hr tour '(Nearly!) All of Dublin in 5 hours'. Access to the campus is limited to groups of 8 or fewer unless tickets for the Old Library are purchased in advance (these are Trinity's rules). Started in 1592 as a university only for Protestants, Trinity remained an institution of resentment for Ireland's Catholic majority up until at least 1970. Throughout the centuries, this fine university nurtured such aspiring students as Oscar Wilde, Jonathan Swift, Bram Stoker and Samuel Beckett, the greatest playwright of the 20th century.

5.00Mark was incredible. He understood my physical limitations (back) and made appropriate alterations. After the first couple of pleasentries we became comfortable with one another and just had a relaxed informative tour. Liz and I thoroughly enjoyed his company and his knowledge. I highly recommend Mark.

5.00Kevin was an incredible guide. With deep knowledge of the cities history ( from Viking to present day) we spent the morning and afternoon exploring Dublin with fresh appreciation. There was rich story telling that brought the history to life, plus some fun tales from Kevin’s own life. To top off the tour we stopped for a pint (that turned to a few) it feels like we started a tourists, but left as friends. Highly recommend the tour if you’re visiting!

5.00We had an outstanding day with Eamon! The weather was beautiful for our 5 hr walking tour. We saw many highlights of Dublin including Trinity College, the squares, Temple Bar, government centers, churches, embassy’s…….I could go on and on. What truly made this tour special was Eamon! He is friendly, knowledgeable and animated. Eamon made every part of the tour come alive. Also, we gained a real sense of history as well as what it is like to live in modern Dublin. Do not hesitate to choose this tour. You will never be disappointed. And ask for Eamon!
