We have a well stocked bar available at very reasonable prices.
We even have a private bathroom and central heating!
Having sailed on Windermere for 20 years I have plenty of stories to tell you about the Lake and thoroughly enjoy showing you how to sail on it, in my fabulous yacht.

What To Expect
A fantastic opportunity for a party of 1 to 8, to try a hands on experience, sailing a 10 metre Beneteau Oceanis Clipper yacht on Windermere. Get as involved as you like, hoisting and trimming the sails, tacking, jibing and steering the ocean going yacht. Alternatively you can sit back, relax, enjoy the scenery and let me do all the work! It doesn't matter if you're a keen sailor or looking for a first time experience, we can tailor the trip to suit your party. I have sailed on Windermere for many years and love letting people sail my fabulous yacht and experience the magic of being on Windermere.

5.00My wife and I had a fantastic time sailing today, thanks to the expertise and easygoing guidance of John. From the moment we stepped aboard, we felt safe, relaxed, and in great hands. John’s knowledge of sailing and the lake was spot on – informative, engaging, and always delivered with a smile. We both had the chance to steer the boat (which was a thrill!), and we always kept an eye out for those elusive red buoys! There was a lovely balance of fun and calm, with time to enjoy a brew while soaking up the sun. The scenery was breathtaking, the boat was in great condition, and we felt totally at ease throughout. It was just the right mix of adventure and relaxation. Whether you’re brand new to sailing or just fancy a memorable day out, we couldn’t recommend this experience more highly. Thanks again to John for a brilliant time on the lake!

5.00Don’t hesitate just book! Thank you John for such an amazing experience, the whole hen party loved it. John was so friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable he created a fantastic experience for our group. We had two sailing boats accommodating 16 in total. We had a great time sailing up and down Windermere for 3 hours. John let us all have a go steering the boat (even despite strong winds which made it even more fun). We also moored the two boats together, bought drinks from the bar and brought a picnic on board. I would definitely book again!

5.00A fantastic experience throughout. I booked this experience as part of my brother stag do weekend. Before we even arrived, John was personalising the trip for us. I hadn't expected to be given the chance to get so involved in sailing the boat, it was a great surprise, and John put us straight at ease with what we needed to do. His experience, knowledge and personable approach really made this trip. Some beers and chilling on the boat was also a great vibe. I will definitely be booking again.
