This was NOT a private tour. What we got was a driver who asked me where we were going and what we wanted to do. He didn’t speak to us except to give us pick up times. We received entrance tickets and headsets for Windsor and were put with a free public tour at Oxford. When we got to Cotswolds we were on our own. All the stores were closed. We were not directed to any sites.

Great experience. Our guide was a true professional and was great with little side line info on all our questions. He did a great job in a one day tour covering Windsor, Oxford and the Cotswold. All in all a good tour of the highlights. If your looking for more in depth time realize this is designed as an overview and as such is wonderful.
