What To Expect
Reservation of Service: The client logs into the Viator platform and selects the transfer service in Guatemala. Choose the type of transfer (airport to tourist city/hotel or vice versa). Take into account that travel is only one way, bone only one way. If you wish to return to your destination, you can make another reservation through the Viator platform. Complete the required details: date, time, number of passengers, and pick-up or destination address. Checkout and receive a booking confirmation with full details. Preparation for Transfer: We will contact you to provide driver information, vehicle type, and an emergency contact number. Transfer Day: The driver arrives at the meeting point (airport or specified address) at the agreed time. The driver carries a sign with the client's name to facilitate the encounter. The customer receives assistance with their luggage. During the Transfer: The trip takes place in a comfortable and safe vehicle, appropriate to the number of passengers and luggage. The driver follows the most efficient route, ensuring a quiet and punctual journey. Point of Arrival: The driver makes sure to arrive at the specified destination (hotel, tourist town, or airport). Assist the customer with luggage during disembarkation. The completion of the service is confirmed and the customer is cordially dismissed. The vehicle type shall be assigned according to the number of passengers: 1 or 2 passengers in sedan, 3 or 4 passengers in SUV, and groups of more than 4 to 7 passengers in Hyundai Starex or similar type minibus. All transfers are private and in air-conditioned vehicles.

5.00My driver was great, polite, and helpful. Anibal was right where he said, my name on a sign held high (it was very busy). The ride was very comfortable. He played music at a reasonable volume, not too loud or too quiet. Got me exactly to my hotel even though the entrance is not well Marked and it was closed. Carried my roller suit case at the airport to the car and got it into the hotel, despite me saying it was not really necessary, great customer service.

5.00Roberto was an absolutely wonderful driver from Guatemala City to Antigua. He was kind, professional, punctual, and made us feel comfortable from the moment he picked us up. He helped us with all of our bags, and his vehicle was very clean, well maintained, and safe. During the drive, Roberto talked with us about Guatemala, explained what we were seeing along the way, and patiently answered all of our questions. His English is excellent, which made communication easy and enjoyable. We learned so much about the culture from him during our trip. He also went above and beyond for us by stopping when we needed a bathroom break and happily pulling over at a little roadside ice cream truck when we asked to stop for ice cream. He gave us great recommendations for restaurants in Antigua and shared helpful safety advice about both Antigua and Guatemala City. Even in heavy traffic, Roberto stayed calm, patient, and drove very safely. By the end of the trip, he felt more like a friend than just a driver. We have stayed in touch, and we are so grateful we had him for this experience. We highly recommend Roberto to anyone traveling in Guatemala!

5.00The driver met us right by outside the airport. He was in touch with me the day prior to confirm our flight information and destination. When we arrived he had a sign with my name up so we could locate him. Our flight landed at 10:00 pm and we were headed to antigua. On our way there he asked if we wanted him to stop at a convenience store since everything in antigua might be closed. We happily accepted the offer.Edgar was great!

1.00DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY! They accept your booking, then send to another company who then outsources a driver. We provided the company our Airbnb address upon booking. They waited until we were in the vehicle with the driver to inform us that they would not be dropping us off at our intended but rather would be dropping us off in Antigua town center than our Airbnb 30 minutes away and told us to had to figure out how to get to our Airbnb and to take it up with Viator The driver informed us that in the short time he has been working with this company that he’s seen them do it to 10 other customers. This is clearly something they do frequently in order to collect the money and don’t deliver on the service when they are aware they cannot deliver. We were left stranded in the middle of nowhere with 4 suitcases. Please steer clear of these scammers!!
