Your experience begins at the meeting point outside El Toro Marisquero Restaurant, where our team will welcome you and transport you to Rancho Mi Abuelo, located just outside Puerto Vallarta. Once at the ranch, you’ll step into the authentic world of Cowboy Nick, the inspiration behind this experience and the cowboy spirit of the ranch. During your visit, you’ll explore the ranch, learn about traditional rural life, and interact with friendly farm animals while enjoying the beautiful natural surroundings. You’ll also take part in a traditional cooking experience where you will learn how to make handmade tortillas and prepare authentic tacos using local ingredients. After cooking, sit down and enjoy a delicious ranch-style meal in our rustic restaurant. To finish the experience, guests can relax and cool off in our natural spring pools surrounded by nature before returning to the meeting point. This immersive ranch experience is perfect for travelers looking to connect with nature, local culture, and the authentic spirit of the Mexican countryside.

5.00I had the pleasure of spending about 5 hours on the farm with Laura and Hector (The protector :). Each staff member was so attentive and helpful; the experience was like being with family. The time spent was particularly special for me because it mirrors, to a very large extent, my upbringing on a rural arm in Jamaica. The real beauty was in the ease and enjoyment of relating, learning and sharing with the staff. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending that, if you are in the area, this is a must-visit experience. Also, ask Laura about their coffee production village, and be sure to buy a large bag of coffee, processed the old-fashioned way. Cheers!!!
