We were in Bratislava on a day trip from Vienna and didn't have a ton of time. This was the perfect quick experience so that we could still try out some Slovak wines (a white, rose, and red). We were the only two people for the tasting time I had booked, so we received personalized service. We ended up purchasing an extension in-person so that we could try 3 more wines, which included a delicious orange wine!

Chilled experience, tried 6 local wines, 2 red, 2 white, a rose and and orange. Boris (hope i caught his name right) was a great host and knew his stuff. Not easily to find but well worth doing. Really enjoyable and informative and good quality wine. Highly recommended

Not a great experience, definitely not worth the money or time. Went with husband and friends, entire tasting lasted less than 15 mins, was offered 3 very small tastings of regional wines, sommelier was somewhat rude, maybe that is what we should have expected, but it made for a rather uncomfortable experience.

The somelier was exceptional. A man with great experience. As a beginners, he taught us everything we should know about wine tasting. He was very specific how the wine is made and where it comes from. What is most important, we weren’t pressured. It was comfortable to do it our way or by the book. We would recommend it to anyone who visits bratislava!

To find Tmava Degustacia, look for the sign on Michalska. You'll need to go downstairs into a cellar, and you will find a beautiful room, some tables for relaxing with a drink, and a knowledgeable staff. We tasted three wines; all were very nice, price was reasonable, and the staff gave us information on the wines and the wineries. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed a pleasant afternoon in this magical wine cellar. Boris smartly presented the lovely wines and answered our questions related to Slovakias interesting wine history in an intelligent and professional manner. A really great experience on our Wedding anniversary.

If you like wine and don’t have time to visit the vineyards, here you can sample between three and six seasonal varieties of small Slovak businesses. Not only are the wines delicious, but Boris makes the experience much more enjoyable and fun. Remember to bring home one or two bottles of your favorite wines, you may never see them again 🫠
