Bridge Between Continents
Want to stand at the very place North America and Europe meet? Well in this tour you’ll get the chance. There is a bridge where you can walk where the two tectonic plates meet. A great story to tell your friends and family.
Krysuvik
The multicolored and iconic geothermal site Krýsuvík and Seltún are one of Iceland’s most popular ones. You will see the multiple seething mud pots of Krýsuvík and the fumaroles and their rising steam. On the location, there is a boardwalk to be walked on safely just above the volcano’s magma chamber. Yeah, you will be standing on top of a steaming volcano! Just 4 km below the groundwater is turned into steam. It’s an alluring sight to see and the vivid red color of the hills around.

Awesome excursion! Highly recommend! You get time to spend as much or as little at each site as well as local knowledge. Our driver was fun!

This was an amazing tour - flexible to our schedule and our interests. We saw everything we wanted to, and even some we didn't expect, and loved every minute of it. Thorir and Siggi were very responsive before the tour, helping us plan the day no matter the weather, and were happy to change plans right up to the last minute. It turns out we had a beautiful day in Iceland and our guide (Siggi) made sure we took full advantage of it, taking us to some spots where we could see the real beauty of the Iceland coast, and learn so much history and information on the drive between locations. Even after the tour was completed and we were trying to head back to our cruise ship, Thorir helped us organise a cab when our phones were not working. These guys go way above & beyond what most tour guides would do. We highly recommend them, you will love every second touring Iceland with Thorir or Siggi. Thank you

I booked a tour for my dad’s 7 hour layover. They did a great job accommodating airport pick up and drop off, and monitored the flight for ideal pick up. They were flexible with what my dad wanted to spend his time, being someone who preferred seeing more sights than bathing in the blue lagoon. My dad enjoyed a very nice lunch (not included) and time with the guide, getting to know him and the Iceland well. Thank you for the flawless experience and showing my dad a good time in such a short period of time!

We booked Oak Travel from October 14-19th and it was a great experience!! Our travel guide, Thorir, took us around the entire peninsula, south coast, and up into the western parts of Iceland for a fully-encapsulating experience. Even though weather derailed our original plans, Thorir was able to work quickly with his team to re-tool our itinerary and book all sorts of cool tours and exhibitions for us. He really went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. I fully recommend that you arrange your trip to Iceland through Oak Travel- the hospitality was unparalleled!
