What To Expect
Get out for an adventurous sightseeing tour that is perfect for discovering the desert and, the hidden treasures of this popular and most deserted destination. This trip will take you to Salt Lake Salinas of Pedra de Lume, the second saltiest water in the world after the Dead Sea, an incredible lake where you can lie down and float, even if you can't swim, and you will be left with smooth skin as if you had a natural scrub. Next, you will travel to Buracona, where you will see the "Blue Eye", one of the 7 wonders of the island and its natural pool, where you will have time to swim in its crystal clear waters if the conditions are ideal for bathing. Then you will move on to Miragem, where you will see the fata morgana effect of water illusions in the desert. Admire the natural reserve of Murdeira Bay and enjoy the beautiful view of Lion mountain. At the end, you will visit Shark Bay, where you will experience lemon sharks in their natural habitat up close. Enjoy a half-day island tour and visit places like Blue Eye, Miragem, Salinas Salt lake and Shark Bay. Swim in the salt lake and Buracona natural pool with your group, before heading out to sea to see some lemon sharks.

1.00They got the hotel pick up wrong and time of pick up wrong. After we waited 20 mins at the wrong hotel they then made us go back to our hotel for pick up to then be told I wasn’t on the list. When I contacted the company they re fused a re fund and blamed it on a miss communication of being a half day experience rather than a full day which simply wasnt true. Terrible company would avoid at all cost and use one of the local shops to book your excursions.

4.00Was a really good trip and the guide was great, very informative. Only down side would be that we didn’t receive communication about the pickup time until late evening the night before which left us wondering what time we would be collected. I had contacted the operator through the app 3 times but had no communication the day prior which felt frustrating. However cannot fault the experience itself and would recommend to others. Would just advise for communication to be made earlier regarding pickup time

5.00We were picked up by our guide Nany, who greeted us with very positive energy. He was able to tell us a lot about the island and its inhabitants. He was very funny and entertaining. Although we unfortunately had hardly any sunshine, which meant that the Mirage and the Blue Eye did not come into their own, we still had a lot of fun with our group. The floating experience in Salinas is absolutely recommended, just like the experience with the sharks. A thoroughly successful trip that we can absolutely recommend to everyone!

5.00Really great tour of the island, 4 activities, friendly guide and organised. Really enjoyed our trip (single women with 11 year old) - highlight was the sharks (bring thick sole water shoes or hire crocs for 2 euro)

5.00Tony was our guide. He was very knowledgeable, kind and funny. The whole experience was great. We saw the mirage, blue eye, shark bay, and the salt pools. It was a great time and I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Sal.
