It was HOT and while the trolley was still Pretty hot, it was much better than walking if you plan on going while the sun is still up. I would say this tour was more of a historical info tour revolved around graveyards/ghosts rather than a spooky experience. Interesting, either way. Our tour guide, Serephina, was phenomenal and our driver Glenn did a great job. The tour had two stops for us to get out which was nice. I would recommend bringing water if you go in the hottest part of summer like we did 😅 the entire tour was roughly 1 1/2 hours. This was prob not super interesting for young kids but it wasn’t scary so still a good option if you’re trying to meet lots of needs. The second stop might be ‘spooky’ for sensitive kids, but my 9 year old boy thought nothing of it. Other general info-no bathrooms for duration of tour-which was no big deal, just go before getting on the bus, and no water. The trolley could fit 2 ppl per seat-which is always an issue for a family of 5 but luckily it wasn’t packed. And they ask for you to ‘check in’ 20 min before your tour starts. Overall-good experience but just wasn’t as spooky as we were hoping!

This was a great ghost tour. Tour guide was great and informative also funny. I took my family including my 9 year old and he was scared during one part but we were able to walk out of the stop and wait on the trolley. Overall great experience!

We took the 8:00 p.m. Ghosts & Gravestones Trolley Tour on July 7, 2026, and it ended up being one of the best experiences of our visit to Savannah. The real star of the evening was our guide, Cecilia. She is an exceptional storyteller who knows exactly how to draw you into each tale. She had the perfect balance of humor, suspense, and respect for the people behind the stories. Her knowledge of Savannah’s haunted history and local lore was impressive, but what really stood out was how she brought it all to life. Instead of feeling like a history lecture, it felt like we were stepping into Savannah’s past with every stop. Our driver, Glenn, was fantastic as well. He kept the trolley running smoothly and safely while adding to the fun atmosphere throughout the evening. Together, they made a great team. The pacing of the tour couldn’t have been better. There was just the right mix of riding and walking, so the evening never felt rushed or dragged on. I especially appreciated that we heard stories beyond the well-known ghost legends. The final story about Rene was my favorite and was a perfect ending to the tour. I also loved learning some of Savannah’s fascinating history—including that the city has a real “grave” problem…they never seemed to have enough graves! Those little historical details mixed with the ghost stories made the tour even more memorable. If you’re visiting Savannah for the first time, I can’t recommend this tour enough. It may be a bit intense for younger children, but for adults, teens, history lovers, and anyone who enjoys a great ghost story, it’s absolutely worth it. If you have the chance to tour with Cecilia as your guide and Glenn as your driver, consider yourself lucky. Cecilia exceeded every expectation I had and turned a great ghost tour into an unforgettable experience.

My wife and I have done the Savannah Ghost & Gravestones tour 3 other times on our visits to the city it’s always fun and entertaining. This last time was special because we had my sister and my handicapped mother. My mom has a bad knee problem but she really wanted to do this tour. Olive and the rest of the cast were extremely helpful and took really good care of her. They didn’t rush her and tried to accommodate her whenever possible. This was my mom’s first trip to a new place since we lost our dad and the Ghost & Gravestones folks helped make it special and memorable for all of us. Thanks to Olive and Sam the driver and everyone else who contributed. We will be back soon.
