We decided to start our visit to Berlin with a bike tour and chose this. Dominic our guide was brilliant, informative and thoughtful. We cycled round the main sights but also explored some hidden spots and were able to begin to orientate ourselves in this amazing city. The bikes are well looked after and helmets provided.

We had a very short stay in Berlin and lucked out with the Saturday "Good morning Berlin". The group was small, diverse and all friendly. Our guide, Martin was a local with a great story telling ability, a good knowledge and passion for history and gave lots of entertaining insights about life in Berlin, we asked and he recommended what turned out to be a great jazz and blues bar for that evening at Kreuzberg.

This is the second year I've done a bike tour with Free Berlin, and I've been very happy with it both times. I bring a small group of US-American exchange students to Berlin for several days each year, and this year's group said the bike tour was one of their two favorite activities. We see so much more on the bikes than on foot, the guide is either a native of Berlin or a Berlin enthusiast, and they are full of interesting information. Our kids are traditionally bad at being alert and watching cars and other bikes, so the chaperones have to be vigilant. But the tour is not strenuous. Berlin is flat, and the guide stops frequently to show or explain something. Their price is reasonable, and a discount is available with the BerlinWelcome Card. I highly recommend this worthwhile activity and this company!

On a 48 hour trip to Berlin, if you can, this is the perfect way to see Berlin! As a nervous cyclist (due to not cycling in a long time) if was refreshing to be given a well maintained bike with no rips or tears to the seat. Our guide Stephanie was so smiley and friendly from the outset and extremely clear and easy to understand. I recommend this tour because of the chance to see interesting parts of the city as well as follow the history of Berlin. Stephanie was so informative and full of interesting knowledge that she relayed in an appealing, funny, conversational way with added use of pictures and diagrams too. You may feel like you are on a history trip in parts but with her - You want to know more! There are periodical stops throughout where you are disclosed more information and a bathroom stop as well. Our tour lasted over 3 hours and it went so quick. Such a fun morning to do something that you would not do back home. And no way would you be able to capture all those sites with the information Stephanie gave too. If I ever come back to Berlin in May, 100% I will be going on another tour with this company.
