What To Expect
Muckross House, Gardens & Traditional Farms
Killarney National Park's main attraction, this beautiful house was built in 1839-1843. Queen Victoria stayed here. The gardens are world renowned for their spleandour and grandeur.
Muckross Abbey
Built by the local Chieftan, McCarthy Mor, for the Franciscians in 1448 it remained for centuries an important center of religious culture untill sacked by Cromwell in 1652. A visit there today is an enchanting and spellbinding experience.

5.00Me and my new wife hired some bikes to explore the national park grounds and were upsold the ebikes, which were well worth the extra. The route isn't strenuous but having the ebikes makes a more enjoyable experience. We the whole day out the bikes with plenty to explore around the national park. Staff were great, very friendly and super informative on how to use the ebikes. Special mention to the member that sent back my driving licence that I dropped in the car park (they provide parking). High recommend for all ages. We had a blast.

5.00The bikes were in great shape, especially for rental bikes. The people working were very helpful and we were on our way quickly with great guidance. The views along the way were fantastic and it was an easy trail. It was a great experience!

5.00Great bike hire company excellent electric bikes and cycled around muckross beautiful location and perfect length of cycle hire - don’t forget to add a little bit on to go down to Ross castle - still on cycle tracks - no road use at all. The tracks are all super smooth and easy and a stop at Dinas cottage well worth it and Torc waterfall, don’t forget to look round the gardens - lovely in May with all the flowers out. Think it was Andy who served us - very helpful bearded chap!

5.00We really loved the morning we spent biking around Killarney. We had everything we needed: bikes, helmets, a lock, and a map. It was so great to just explore independently, with plenty of time to see everything.

4.00Very peacfull route past wildlife and waterfalls. Bikes very good no problems. Map a bit confusing we got lost a few times. Workers very chatty and entertained children. Horse and carrige slightly annoying as they get in your way but overall very good would do it again (if my legs can very nackering.)
